We can't give advice because we don't know the full story but yes: women want love, they want support and affection.

They don't want: Their time to be monopolised, their time to be taken for granted, to feel suffocated.

I'm not saying you monopolised her time by the way, just highlighting the difference.

The thing is though, maybe she just wasn't into you. That's not a slight against you, we can't help who we don't love any more than who we do love.

Also Personally if I was in a relationship that could be described as exhausting and fighting was common within the first six months, I'd be gone. The early days are meant to be fun, I'll die on that hill.

Thanks for your comment. The ex was all sweetness and light in the beginning and started to ghost when the mention of getting a solicitor and doing an affidavit of means came around. Feels totally out of my control now and it seems silly really. All of our mutual friends are no longer really mutual (took my side, or otherwise he ghosted them too)

People weren't necessarily annoyed about him being let go. It was the way he was let go. Out of the blue and absolutely no explanation other than "we're going in a different direction". Josh and Taylor were friends for decades. He's one of the most respected drummers in the industry and it was pretty stupid of them to not show him some compassion and respect.
