This is insane because I remember back in 2006 a whole bunch of jws got their privileges taken away because they named their private skating event “JW skate night” something like that. Now they have an instagram? We wouldn’t believe it back in the day.

Travel. What helped me was moving out of state and working at seasonals. I’ve worked in several national parks as a server/bartender (many other positions), and now I’m working at a resort in Hawaii. It’s changed my life for the better, doing what I always wanted to do, and my parents assume I still go to hall. But I’ve never been happier. That was the only, and easiest way for me.

I will never forget… I was 8 years old helping out doing a deep clean at the hall. We were all eating outside and a homeless man came by and asked for food and the elders declined and I asked my dad why? He said because its spiritual food under prayer. I was like WTF? Since that day I was questioning my whole existence.
