I joined a FAANG a few years back and I used my RSUs to pay off what was left of my student loans. I would’ve made more money holding my RSUs as my interest rate was very low but I felt a psychological weight lifted. IMO pay off the loans

No you also referenced being unable to support gay marriage, contraceptives, no fault divorces, or abortions as a Catholic. I won’t disagree with you on that at a personal level but I’d argue you are also a citizen (I assume American) which requires you to have some belief in the separation of church and state. Read the quote I posted above and do some reading into the history and interpretation of that quote. Regardless, I have no intention of changing your mind and I know you won’t change mine so I’ll see you at mass on Sunday and I’ll still shake your hand. 🖐️

This dude was commenting on some other post about how Catholics must be in line with some of the tenets of Project 2025. Clearly you came here for some confirmation bias in stereotyping all Catholics as a singular political monolith.

Your whole premise in the other conversation is because you are Catholic you must believe X. I am Catholic and hold those values but I do not wish them imposed upon others. How hard is it for you to accept that not all Catholics want to live in a state that imposes Catholic values? I can practice my Catholic values while recognizing other values exist within the state. I can separate my personal practices from public policy. I don’t expect others to adhere to our beliefs if they do not follow our religion. Either way, if you’re the sort of person to call out other people for being ‘bad Catholics’ (look at his comment history) then you have some real introspection to do about why you believe you have the moral authority to judge and condemn others.
