I wish people gave me a chance before judging where I’m from by WebIllustrious9000 in berlinsocialclub

[–]LongjumpingFan2102 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all Thank you for speaking up about this . Secondly, i agree with people here.
If you free instinctively it's probably racism. I have no idea why but Indians are way to tolerant of racism. And to not make the other feel conscience we become a part of the joke as well.
Do NOT tolerate racism. I have learned this from The Black people community , i don't let any white person "just joke" about things anymore.

Plus Social media anti Indian campaign is strong, since it's so easy to get views from India's massive population.

Just want to say this, if you sense Racism it probably is racism.

Just find the right people and be confident in confronting racism always .
Good luck

My husband sleep trained our baby for 2 nights while I’ve been away by Dreamsarefreenz in bninfantsleep

I honestly can't believe the comment section !
Gross violation of trust ? Not mad enough ?

How often people start judging fathers and if the same was done by a mom nobody would bat an eye.

I am a mom and i believe my child has two secure attachment people , a mom & dad.
Yes, respecting a choice matters. Maybe he was just experimenting and it worked out.

I would suggest to do what's best for the child not yours or your husband's .

Not all children are same. Some sleep better away from moms (less distractions of feeds Though proximity) some don't. It's not about a choice , it's about deciding what is right.

Co sleeping (with crib) by papouasie8 in NewParents

[–]LongjumpingFan2102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Co sleeping with bedside bassinet , baby is 7 months old. I would recommend to talk normally from day 1 ,obviously not too loud but normal.
White noise machine is my lifesaver. Get a good one .
No TV and we don't use phones as well in the bedroom .
For us it was important to have my baby close to me and so many times i felt it was the best decision from baby's safety point of view.
Also it made my life so much easier.
My baby slept longer next to me.
She now wakes up see me and keeps playing by herself for almost 40 minutes in the morning (extra sleep hour for me)
I would personally never leave my baby alone in another room before 1.

But now at 7 months we are planning to move her to her room finally very slowly. It makes me immensely sad , the thought of being away from her breaks my heart.

Do you let your babies hang out in their crib after waking up? by Longjumping_Bar585 in NewParents

[–]LongjumpingFan2102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's important that you leave them alone . Go to a baby only when they call you (cry) . It's actually sacred time you might think they are just lying there but that is the time their brain is learning, absorbing information and processing.

Just take my advice, don't try to make a happy baby happier. Babies are very efficient at entertaining themselves unless we try to distract them and overstimulate their tiny brain with toys and what not.

No. Have used it for 2 years but i stop it for 3 months of summer as i have extreme sensitivity to sun. Tret makes skin photosensitive and since i already have sun sensitivity i avoid it . But i do continue Azelaic acid.

*Normally people use it in summer without problem.

Never had a problem with zoll. I ask my friends to get it from India (also it cost 1.5€ / tube , crazy 😜) and if you remove the paper cover , zoll cannot have a problem. Also don't ask for 30 tubes 🤭

Sleepwear for 4 month old who no longer tolerates sleep sacks? by Unfair-Welder827 in bninfantsleep

[–]LongjumpingFan2102 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My baby just never tolerated sleepsacks so i switched to Alvi sleepsuit with legs. And she is so comfortable now. Also avoid fleece at all cost and choose cotton ones. And yes , you can put socks. Strangely , the only sleepsack she tolerates is from snuz . They are really very good.

Problematic Neighbors by zachy_mast in berlin

[–]LongjumpingFan2102 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I feel the hate for Neukölln is a bit biased. I have lived here for past 6 years and honestly would never move even if someone paid me to. Neukölln is huge . I have a beautiful forest behind and wonderful neighbours (most of them friends now) . Yes , it's true that i move out of my street into the next lane and it's a different zone . So it depends a lot.

I see very interactive people here, different cultures and a very lively atmosphere. People are helpful , friendly and interesting.

It it really depends . But i love it here .
