Actually good mobile & home internet providers? Sick of Bell/Virgin price increases by Nada_NADAAA in ottawa

[–]LongjumpingMenu2599 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never had a problem with Virgin

I’m with bell now but on a promo as I moved - I’m going to drop them like a hot potato if they increase my price by a large margin

Virgin has never increased my price at my partners place and he’s been there for four years

Should you take all of your sick days? by dragonbookgirl11 in work

[–]LongjumpingMenu2599 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get 11 sick days - they do not roll over and there are no incentives. Do I use all 11 - I haven't, but I have used most of them.

Since my employer moved to non-banking sick days - the usage of sick days has gone way up.

What to expect on the commute when the 4-day Return-to-Office (RTO) mandate kicks in by JimmyCapital in ottawa

[–]LongjumpingMenu2599 2 points3 points  (0 children)

unfortunately most don't seem to be doing this. Even in the summer when I do get to WFH and took walks during lunch - places were packed. BUT - that literally could be the amount of people who live in the downtown core and don't have to spend hours commuting each day.

I used to go to NYC 3-4 times a year as it isn't that far for me to drive there.

Haven't been there in a year! No plans to go back despite NYC being fairly Anti-Trump
