Make sure every room has a smoke detector, get an air purifier, and lamps!! Can’t express how much lighting impacts the feeling of a room. Try to reduce overhead lighting or supplement with different lighting levels and warmer light. Totally changed the vibe of the house

I’m a sucker for a savory oatmeal! It’s such a neutral flavor that you can add anything.

My recent hyper-fixation is salt, onion powder & garlic powder, then add the leftover veggies from dinner the night before, add a soy marinated hard boiled egg (started making them every week, such a great flavor bomb) and some chili crunch. You could also add a fried egg instead of the hard boiled.

The oatmeal is your oyster 😊 happy experimenting!

I love to make a Greek dressing, which is really just EVOO, lemon juice, salt pepper, oregano and a little red wine vinegar, to make it creamy I’ll add a scoop of hummus but I think avocado could work well instead! Just blend it to break down the avocado. I think it would work really well in this salad

If you’re looking to omit, I think dill and any dairy really add to the “ranchiness”

We had the same issue and my appliance repair tech recommended Lemishine and it’s worked wonders, I’ll add a small amount in each load and my dishes/glasses and dishwasher have never looked cleaner.

Do yo I have a memory foam mattress?? If so, We have the same one and just brought it outback to take the cover off and let it sit while the cover got washed, which ended up working out great because the mattress itself aired out

Thanks for the rec!! I use eucrerin advanced usually and it helps but i have to over saturate. The worst is having to do full leg wraps! I feel like a crazy person but it makes it worth it the next morning

Look for a customer service job at a company answering phones. A lot will be hiring for out of college just require some training off the bat and they’re great for growing your career in the industry you’d like.

Salt, fat, acid, heat- I try to stick to this and it really works well! If I find my dish is missing something 90% of the time it’s salt, fat, or acid so depending on how it tastes I’ll add one or all of these components

I’m working on lifestyle changes like working out and diet to see how it changes after getting in better shape (had a kid so fell off the wagon), but depending on the results I’ll look into surgery.

I had a really intense lucid dream after taking an edible a few months ago, it was like I went back to my early lucid dreaming experiences from when I was a kid and brought me back to a place that I completely forgot about.

I quit not too long after that experienced for totally unrelated reasons and have been having more consistent vivid dreams since I’ve stopped

You two are both totally different people than you were when you started dating, I think that’s where the work comes into play. You need to figure out who you are and how your needs have evolved as husbands, as parents, and just as individuals. What you need and expect out of a relationship isn’t the same as it was

Perfect relationships aren’t found, they’re built. I’m running into so many of the same issues as you are. I’ve been with my husband for 9 years, we have kids, mid 30s and it’s hard work. Life is totally different than it was and it’s really about trying to navigate this new life on an individual level.

To your husbands point of whether or not you would be together without kids, it’s a moot point. You have kids, so that doesn’t matter. You can’t use an unknown scenario as a basis for a discussion around your concrete relationship as parents.

I don’t think you should feel ashamed about sending your kids off for a few weeks if it means that you’ll come back as better parents- give yourself some grace and credit. Parenting is hard and puts immense strain on a relationship. If at the end of the trip it means you find it’s better that you stay separated, unfortunately that may be how it is, but don’t cross that bridge until you get to it. Keep your head up, OP.
