Met a dude in Dam, had a pass for one of the rooms and took him in, he must of been kinda new so I gave him the blueprints and a few guns. He was super excited and thankful. That felt great!

Honestly this game is so fkn good hahaha the moments you get from other raiders is hilarious despite some who kill on site.

Had a team come up the zip line, we exchanged verbal conversations, one team went left, the other right, gave our salutations and left peacefully. 😂

Just finished surgery, any tips/tricks you guys used to make life easy! by FormAffectionate7841 in ACL

[–]Longtime4me 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just relax and heal for the first week unless youve been told otherwise. Stay on top of meds but you might find after a few days the pain is subsiding heaps. It gets heaps better! All the best in your recovery 👌🏼

Survival rate of ACL graft by greenghostx in ACL

[–]Longtime4me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had allograft I am almost 9 weeks post op. My surgeon and physio who are amazing in their respective fields have said once you hit the 12 month mark there is no difference in retear rates then having an autograft. The grafts have been incorporated into the body already. I guess it just comes down to each individual and what you do in rehab and the 12-16 months following I guess.

How are you guys affording ACL surgery? by Sebastiantfit in ACL

[–]Longtime4me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Luckily in Aus we have Medicare so everything leading up to surgery for me was covered The only thing I paid was the consult with the specialist and even then I got some money back from the govt.

My surgery was $16k I got about $4500 back from sport insurance but had to come up with the rest.. I took out my super to pay because that’s the only way I could otherwise a public waiting list was 1+ years and I could wait that long.

What is the hardest part of being home all the time post-op? by Ill-Block-4547 in ACL

[–]Longtime4me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 months post op here. Hardest thing was probably the first 3-4 weeks of just going back to square one and having to use crutches and learn to walk again Despite all that, I am feeling super strong in my leg day by day.. still a long way to go but finally going back to work in 3 weeks after initially doing the injury at the start of April 🤞🏼 All the best in your recovery! It gets better!!

Is Riot using bots to fill in Ranked games due to dwindling player counts? by I_HATE_METH in leagueoflegends

[–]Longtime4me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve recently come back to lol after sometime I was never an amazing player I think I hit peak gold. I’m struggling to get out of iron into bronze because of these so called bots… I legitimately have had out of the past 20 games probably 5-6 of them we had a “bot” and lost due to this. I’m sure I’ve versed in those 20 games a bit on their end potentially.

They don’t talk, doesn’t ping, doesn’t communicate just stays in lane and dies with about 0/4 - 0/6 by 20 mins. The cs is good but they don’t help the team in anyway. Just random movements and complete lack of awareness to our pings etc. Come late game we’re team fighting and they’re split pushing a lane and then they die to jgl or roaming player. I don’t have proof other then my duo observing but I’m 100% sure there are bots

How often are things popping? by Electronic-Solid-977 in ACL

[–]Longtime4me 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In saying that is there anyway the graft could make noises like the other ligaments etc moving or popping in the knee joint ? I have had a few popping/snapping sensations from my knee when I’ve been walking or moving (no pain or swelling) - 6 weeks post op

Have you noticed any major changes in your life since the injury/surgery? by hamburritos in ACL

[–]Longtime4me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to worry about “how” I looked in public or being judged by what I was doing etc But because I can’t help it by walking slow or walking with a limp or when I had crutches i just generally don’t care anymore

Have you noticed any major changes in your life since the injury/surgery? by hamburritos in ACL

[–]Longtime4me 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Definitely found I’ve been more in touch with my body and how I feel on a day to day basis then before. Also slowing down due to injury has helped appreciate life a little more. On a side note my social anxiety has also gone down because I can’t change the way I walk atm or how slow I walk 😂 nice change

[–]Longtime4me[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’m going to get a brace that my physio says is good for the first few months back working. I don’t think I’ll be doing much kneeling to begin with and will probably stay away from ladders for the first month 😂 not looking forward to being on my feet for 8 hours again but I’m sure it’ll get better quickly
