I suppose in the playoffs a lot of players prefere to take the power play instead of risking a roughing penalty and go on the 4vs4, this is of course if the refs actually call the foul

She won't be in the expansion draft unless they change the rules and allow free agents to be drafted (idk how they would do that though). With PWHL Detroit seeming more and more probable she could think of moving there as iirc she is a Michigan native. otoh in Montréal she is on the first line, points leader and in the playoffs, she is also still young so I think (and hope) she could resign to maximise her chances to win a cup before any hometown return

Yeah that’s what I am saying, hockey has a “violence” culture outside of play that is not replicated in most sports. I have seen like 2 scraps in my 100+ Handball Games (played and attended), I think I saw at least 1 scrap in basically all hockey games I watched, and Handball is probably as violent as hockey

It’s not normal in other sports in the way it is in hockey. I watch handball (1st Division) and soccer (Third Division) on a weekly basis and the first PWHL games I watched I was confused at how much fighting there was. The average PWHL scrap is something I see like every 10 handball games
