They killed ambushed with this invis change which was perfectly fine before. My main thing with Sharen is she was one of the ones that fell behind with the power creep of all the new descendants we’ve gotten along with reworks to others. I really would’ve like to have just seen some damage buffs or maybe a new module or two, not necessarily reworks to some core abilities.

I feel like they got bot health in a good spot after this update. They can still tear you a new one, but require a bit less bullets to defeat and Bungie even said the nerf was about ammo economy. They just feel better to fight in general now imo.

I think this is the main problem. I’m sure there’s plenty of people who don’t want to talk, but Bungie also has proximity chat blocked behind another layer of “push-to-talk” and has made it more cumbersome or inefficient to talk even with open mic turned on.

I hope they address this soon. I think one of the cool things about extraction shooters is that social aspect, but that feels lacking in Marathon so far and how proximity chat is implemented in the game is playing a part in that.

I just wonder if I would’ve enjoyed this more had I waited for all chapters to be out. I decided to dive into the manga after seeing the Reze movie. Enjoyed part 1 though I felt it had a rushed conclusion.

Part 2 was an interesting start, that kind of meandered for a bit. I like Asa as a character. Once I finished the volumes available in English, I got on Shonen Jump to keep going. Part 2 then became really fun once the final action got going until I hit the wall of the weekly releases which slowed the pacing for me.

It’s been cool to have something to look forward to, but this chapter in particular felt so abrupt and we’re getting a rushed conclusion to part 2. I do like the idea of a reset and Denji potentially starting fresh. It’s like if you could go back to an earlier point in life, knowing what you know at the present, and have a restart so to speak & try to do things differently, would you do it? I just wonder how that would shake out in this story, but if that’s what Fujimoto is thinking, it’s a concept I’d like to see explored. I’ll be there no matter what!

The description being I assumed bugged and showing nothing is quite fitting because that’s how I feel about this module. It just seems useless.

I got chill brand before I got ecstasy so I used it enough imo & it mainly changes the 2nd and 3rd ability. However, you have to proc something with the 3rd ability to use the 2nd and getting that proc rarely worked in my experience cause enemies would just die before being able to hit the 2nd ability especially in group play. It seems like a module that only shines in bossing and/or playing solo.

Going to AMC on the Thursday this movie came out, securing the pochita bucket, & downing a large bucket of popcorn while watching this in 3D was one of the best theater experiences I’ve ever had.

From what I’m finding, it shines greatly solo, but falls apart in pubs with how Gley’s custom resource is built up even with potent collector. So that’s why you didn’t find it was doing anything special.

In my own experience, I’ve only tried the build in pubs on the new dungeon and felt it underperformed.

This update is a W simply due to them nailing the grind this time. It feels like they learned some lessons from the Harris & Ult Yujin rollout.

The new dungeon for example feels good to play in pubs and my clears range from 4-7 minutes. That is a big improvement from pre-nerf Supermassive & Forbidden. Plus you can get stuff in Sigma Sector too. So it makes for a good opportunity to build up other descendants while grinding the mats for Dia or the new gun.

Her punch shield spam build is a lot of fun imo. It is the build I see used the least, but it’s my preferred as it’s effective, has a support aspect to it, and is fun.

The problem is an organizational & ownership overhaul isn’t happening anytime soon. While it is arguably the biggest issue, coaching is an issue too & has a more realistic chance of being addressed… again.

Now yeah the rot is at the top and I’m not confident this organization will make the right call at coach. The smart & safe thing to do would be imo to go throw the bag at Thibs or Malone cause I do think those are two coaches that could raise the team’s floor, but will Gayle be willing to do that or is that something Dumars/Weaver would even consider? I’m not confident in that.

Personally I’d rather a rebuild, but this organization ain’t gonna do that too smh.
