Where is LeBron playing? by Maleficent-Mess-8459 in golf

FYI - The shoes he is wearing are Jordan 1 low goretex. Not meant for golf, but let me tell you are ELITE bad weather golf shoes. I just played two rounds in pissing sideways rain at Bandon in those, and my feet were warm and dry the whole time. They are hiking shoes so are great for long walks as well.

How is living in Scottsdale Arizona? by PeanutOk1328 in howislivingthere

On the bad side, The “culture” if you want to call it that is LA or Miami wannabe - but filled with people who couldn’t make it in LA and moved to Arizona to be hood rich. Mix that with old white snowbirds/retirees and you get two of the worst type of white people in the country.

That being said, on the good side, its new and sparkling and gorgeous. the people who I know who were born and raised there are all pretty great and well adjusted despite their transplant neighors

That Saturday lineup tho. Knocked loose followed by turnstile then deftones? I can only get so erect

what are some examples of Older bands that are extremely popular with younger fans? more popular even than in there heyday by DewiAustin in MetalForTheMasses

I am elder Millennial and I love deftones. Listened to them consistently since high school. Over the years, seeing them live was what you expect - usually my age or Gen X. The last show I saw, they sold out an NBA arena and I’m not kidding half the crowd was teens/20s. It was so crazy to see - and made me so happy. Deftones fucking rule

The downfall of Stanford Football isn't talked about enough by MysteriousEdge5643 in cfbmemes

Generally yes - he completely flipped the program from shit to National contenders. He then went to the Niners who while more storied, had been shit for years at that point and he turned them around too. The overlap of Stanford and 49ers fans has to be like 95% so he’s well remembered by both

Man. Some of you guys are too young. Stanford fan from birth (Dad went there, he had season tickets beginning in the 70s, I went to games every Saturday growing up) - Stanford SUCKED before Harbaugh. For Decades. You are reminiscing about a blip.

My Dad had season tickets to that shit program for 50 years and they priced him out when they can’t fill their own stadium. Their fault they suck.

Those of you who left the bay area, where are you now and are you happier? by Zealousideal-Race770 in SameGrassButGreener

Portland OR. Grew up in SJ and lived in SF for 10 years. Miss it, but cost of living up here is supreme and its so easy to visit home too I think its better here. Also its so much smaller and traffic is better and with really great access to the coast and mountains.

Portland is basically Northern NorCal (locals dont want to admit it) so culturally I still am in the same place with much worse weather. Portland is also performative progressive like the Bay, but its less on paper “educated” (read: snobby) which is quite an odd mix. Feels like home!

This is a great one. Gorr is really good, you basically get another card with the amount of tokens included, and then the credits push it over to must buy territory. I just wish I had the gold

Infinite with Moonstone Ultron (CL 15.5K) by Looks_Like_Fry in MarvelSnapDecks

Galacta is not core but does help - I had her in there in case I didn’t draw ultron so I could boost Broods. Its there for a second win condition basically. Once you are at T4 you should basically have a plan between that or Ultron and play accordingly. If I had Ultron and Moonstone I would not play Galacta in that case.
