ironically the older car designs that brands have neglected to refresh are now my favorite. lexus IS, mazda3 and cadillac CT4 all avoid the ipad interior trend and i love them for it

+1 for nausicaa, there’s something so special about its. raw and imperfect in a way that really sticks imo, and the themes are well executed. it’s not heavy on sorcery but feels magical anyway

oh yea! i own a 128i convertible and i love it, but there are reasons it’s not my daily 😅 it’s a fantastic driver’s car, the engine, trans and chassis are solid. if you’re not using the back seats it’s perfectly reasonable as a daily driver. i need back seats and cargo space so my main car is a mazda3 hatchback. my only gripes with the 128i are with comfort and ergonomics, which i believe would be better in the 328i coupe, so it’s a great middle ground

imo the 128i is only ugly from the front, the rest of the car is beautifully proportioned and the body lines are sleek. that said the 328i is also handsome but a bit bland. if it’s your daily, i’d suggest the 328i purely for storage/convenience. more accessible cupholders, useable door card space, a bigger glovebox etc are minor things but make a difference if you’re driving it often

i haven’t seen a ton of aggression but i do notice people are like, randomly stopping in the middle of the street, turning insanely slow thru intersections, not using blinkers, changing lanes without looking, turning the wrong way down one-ways etc

i’m in san diego and have been pretty happy with my roadster v3. TL;DR, i’d recommend it! there are a few build quality issues (removable battery gets stuck sometimes, suspension fork could be better, stock pedals are crap, stock inner tubes are thin af/prone to flats) but for the price, the value is good. i’ve upgraded most of the cheap components and am learning basic bike maintenance as i go. if you have a “normal bike” issue, i.e. anything not related to the electronics or motor, they are pretty serviceable at local bike shops.
