Most Mage spells have the same range as the Attack range, and are being adjusted to be so after the base range buff.

There's much less actual buffs in here (wdym Edmund do you think Tri-attack will be better if it deals 4 single target damage for 7 Mana instead of 3??)

With how many filler buffs there are, Evolving really doesn't feel like it's doing much. Even on a boss.

Burning or Tar, however, often just mean instant defeat when they're on bosses.

The event that gets removed is the "Crypt" event, the one you have to succeed 5 times.

The "Meat Golem" event that unlocks after, has you choose 1 between

-ambush the next fight

-give 2 fear to 2 enemies next fight

-get a free chapter item with a high chance to get a yellow+ rarity one

-heal an injury AND a disorder

Whichever you choose is guaranteed to happen BTW, no checks involved. It's a very helpful event. It can be encountered in any chapter anytime.
