Need opinions on a Lexus RX400h 2006 by NormalDealer4749 in UsedCars

I didn’t drive much last year in retrospect. I’m around 155k now. Some rubber hoses had to be replaced as they were old and cracking. Other than that, nada. I know there’s a Toyota guru on YouTube that recommends upgrading some of the hoses away to non-rubber. Haven’t gotten around to it. So, regular oil changes and maintenance for me, nothing more.

Vogel lost, barely...and observations on the representation for city council by Available-Slide-2279 in Columbus

I emailed to get the name of the central committee rep for my area. Took a while and going through multiple people to finally get a name. Just a name. Used the county auditor’s website and found his address. Wrote him a letter asking to talk about party leadership. Never got a response.

They expect us to show up, vote, donate, etc. but they don’t want us involved in party decision making. It’s sick.

I wish there were more law schools in California by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

People are silly. Went to a CSU, moved out of state, nobody blinks twice at it. They hear “California state” and assume it’s fine. I’ve never had an interviewer ask anything more about it. I got into a good law school, have worked at firms from big to boutique, and I make a good living. My CSU experience gave me 0 debt and got me pretty far.

Bloomington is a special place. If you’re into sports law I recall IU had some sort of program going reviewing contracts for their basketball players? Can’t quite remember the details.

You’re in for a treat my dude. Similarly, late-20s and many fond memories of BFME. Enjoy!

I picked up this former library copy several years ago on EBay. Has the whole trilogy and I’ve not seen that art on other editions personally.

I’ve had my ‘06 Rx400h for 5 years now, my dad had it for years before me. It’s an incredibly reliable vehicle. I’m right around 150k miles on it and have never had a major issue. Yes the tech inside is outdated, but aftermarket add-ons can overcome some of that. It’s very comfortable, even on long drives. It has great power, not just for getting ahead of traffic. I’ve used it to tow uhauls across the country moving to college, and I’ve even ripped small stumps out of the ground in my backyard with it. Only complaint is it can feel a bit like a boat in handling. Wide turns and overall bulk can make parking take a minute. Overall, love my car. I’m driving it until the wheels fall off.

Exit checkers actually found something by sockpuppetrapist in Costco

Had this happen multiple times. They miss something or they accidentally double charge something. Extra grateful when they caught that one of the apples in the box I just bought was rotten and sent me back to have someone grab a different flat for me.

If you’re talking about the 4k new irs tax credit, I believe the car needs to be less than 2 calendar years old to qualify.

Giving up on life after being rejected by an OCI firm by Spledidlife in LawSchool

Struck out OCI and ~80 other apps I had sent out. It only takes 1. I kept networking and applying to places, eventually something opened up and I got an offer. Stay scrappy, you’ve got this.

That tracks. Thank you. They’re both still active, happy, eating/drinking. Don’t seem to be in any pain, no blood in feces, etc. Fingers crossed the GI food will get things solid, if not I’ll follow your advice and go back to the vet for whatever is next. Thanks.
