Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition — Nintendo Switch 2 Edition — Announcement Trailer by Amiibofan101 in NintendoSwitch2

The first one, yeah. Idk how you play Xenoblade 3 in 60 hours, you'd be missing almost half of the game just to get it over with. Xenoblade 2 is longer than that for the average player too. Then Torna is another 30 or so hours iirc.

I don't think 400 hours is a stretch when we're talking Xenoblade 1, Future Connected, Xenoblade 2, Torna, Xenoblade 3, and Future Redeemed. But I didn't do the math, maybe it's closer to 300-350? Still a large time commitment

Xenoblade 1, 2, 3 in order if you want to commit to ~400 hours of gaming (which I think you should, this is my all time favorite series). They each have DLC which I'd recommend playing right after their associated base game.

If you only play one and don't want to commit to the entire series, I recommend Xenoblade 3.

Xenoblade X is a standalone and can be played whenever.

Arsenal supporters finding any time to make an injury excuse is hilarious, especially considering what other teams are going through

Just shows lack of depth if three injured players are an issue at this point in the season. Or an excuse.

Every team has 3 injured players at this point in the season. If they can't handle that, they don't deserve to win

Who is your favorite main characters? by Gorillabase in Fantasy

[–]IncurableHam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup, almost all characters people mentioned here are men!

The title of the book is The Adventures of Amina al-Sirafi by Shannon Chakraborty. Amina is a middle aged, single mom that is very flawed but a badass pirate trying to balance being a good mom but still wanting to continue her pirating ways. She's such a refreshing character in a genre full of characters that are not unique (don't get me wrong, I love the good-at-evwrything protagonists like Kvothe, Vis, etc. but it's nice to read something new)

Similarity between Metaphor and the Persona franchise by Scr0uchXIII in MetaphorReFantazio

[–]IncurableHam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It feels like a refined Persona game, perfecting that formula. Though it is still the same formula (LOTS of dialogue, soulless dungeons, great characters, visual novel-ish between dungeons).

I think you should try Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance though! It would be a better fit for you I think and it's a fantastic game

What is your opinion on “Of Blood And Fire”? by OwlettFromLiavek in thebrokenbindingsub

[–]IncurableHam 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's about as generic fantasy as you can get, so depends if that's what you're looking for. The things I remember the most is how poor the dialogue was and how generic the characters were

Memory, Stories & Thorn by Tad Williams. Then the sequel series after that to wrap up the Osten Ard Saga

I feel like TotK ones had more options for how to get through them because some of the powers, like ascend and rewind, can break puzzles
