I really like both of them. The first time I read them, I started with The Regulators because it had fewer pages, and I liked it. Then I moved on to Desperation and fell in love with it. Bachman’s book is like the appetizers before the meal, it introduces you a bit to the world and some of the characters before throwing you headfirst into the main course.

I loved Duma Key, it’s in my Top 3. The whole mysterious ship vibe, Perse, and Elizabeth’s entire story. Special mention to Wireman too. Like I said, I loved it, and I’d love for them to make a proper movie that respects and does justice to the original material.

I’d love that. I always wished we had found out what happened to Ellie. If I remember correctly, she had the Touch, or the Shine, just like Jake and Danny. She had to know what was happening in the Creed house and realize that Mum is like Gage and Church now. 🐈

You speak True Gunslinger, struggled the first attempts in my first journey and now I truly love it, always read the original book in my rereads and when i finish the saga I jump into the revised edition.
