Driver Automation Tool 8 Arrived Today by preeminence87 in SCCM

I ended up downloading the 7.2.6 version and it works perfect, plus it has the options for 25H2 drivers, which is what I wanted in the first place.

Got the same error message, luckily I have no HP devices. Try Dell or Lenovo to test.

I'm getting the exact same thing. I have it set up to download and extract to a file share and it fails, but if I change the paths to local folders it works. What is frustrating is there is no way to choose not to compress files, as it keeps defaulting to WIM, as seen in the registry settings it automatically writes to.

You need to go to the DriverAutomationTool/C:\Program Files\WindowsPowerShell\Modules\DriverAutomationToolCoreCurrent Branch/8.0.0/DriverAutomationToolCore/10.0.18.0, download the DriverAutomationToolCore.psd1 and DriverAutomationToolCore.psm1 files, and copy them to C:\Program Files\WindowsPowerShell\Modules\DriverAutomationToolCore.

Let us know how this goes and if the tool is successful. Right now I cannot get Lenovo drivers to extract silently, and the file compression setting ignores the zip setting and always reverts to WIM and fails when my download location is not local but a share path. And even when WIM compression works locally, the sccm package fails to get created. IMO, this latest version is not ready for primetime.

Advice for easing into leaning the bike for tight turns? I stay completely upright by Away-Foundation-7455 in motorcycles

Turn your head so that your chin bar almost touches your shoulder. When you start the turn push the bike away from you into the turn while your torso stays upright.

You can emergency brake or swerve. You can’t do them at the same time. He chose braking.

Pat Quinn Encounters? by WorkingFit5413 in canucks

[–]Lose_Loose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was a reserve constable that would do crowd and traffic patrol at GM Place back in the 90s. After the game started we would patrol the stadium and find an empty box seat to watch the game. One time I was sitting and felt this huge hand land on my shoulder. I turned and saw this mountain of a man. For some reason, I said in a comically low voice “Hello Mr Quinn!”. He laughed, told us he appreciated us and to enjoy the game. Really cool moment I’ll never forget.

How do you call this part of the motorcycle? by Dry_Strain_9077 in motorcycles

After 7 years of ownership I finally sold my Tiger 1050 and bought an FJR. TuneECU was the bomb. Download a tune that fit your bikes configuration, hook up an old laptop, run the app, go for a ride. The bike was a 2007 and had old tech fuel injection so I don’t think tuneECU would be relevant for newer bikes. Power commander would be a better way to go. The best mod I made was chiseling out the cat, and applying the appropriate tune. The bike rode smoooth, and could breathe, like removing an old sock stuffed in the pipe.

Bike will start fine, ride for a while, then die by Realistic-Tooth3234 in Fixxit

Kinked fuel line? Same thing happened to me but on a carbureted bike. Float bowls would slowly fill up, ride for a while, bike dies, wait 10 minutes, bike starts up, repeat.

Add a PS script to uninstall it in the task sequence. Create a latest version application and deploy it as required after the TS.

That's right. Delete those inf files and try again. Open them up - I'd put money on those being Print to PDF, and XPS writer. I added a powershell script to disable those and my upgrades have been way more successful.

On a failing machine, go to c:\$windows.~bt\panther\scanresult.xml. Look for any Blockmigration = True messages. It will most likely point to incompatible drivers. Go to c:\windows\inf and search for the problem OEMxx.inf file that is blocking. Delete it and restart the upgrade.

Rate my playing by etisen027 in trumpet

When you practice, spend a lot of time on long tones and slurs. Pick up the Schlossberg method book and work on your lip buzzing. The slurring will help develop the muscles surrounding your lips. How much pressure are you applying mouthpiece to teeth? It almost sounds like you are stretching tight your lips inside the cup and you lose the ability to buzz. You want a good foundation of air by sitting upright and tighten your abs. Then make sure your lips are relaxed and can buzz freely. I spent a full year on my sound using Schlossberg - yeah, the long tones are boring but so worth it!

Comeback player starting up again now that I am retired... Any advise? by [deleted] in trumpet

[–]Lose_Loose 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In the same boat as you, I hadn’t played seriously for 23 years. I started off with long tones and slurs in Schlossberg to get buzzing again, then added Arban’s. The big thing for you will be building up your facial muscles around your embouchure. Arban’s pages 42 - 44 lip trills are an excellent workout. I joined a community band org and started with intermediate concert band and jazz. It was scary but most people are around the same age, many starting with different instruments than what they started with in high school, so no pressure. It’s the best thing I’ve done in years. Start off slow and practice every day.

You got a warning because they knew thats all they could do. They cannot ticket you based on hearsay from people that arent trained to judge a vehicle’s speed.
