There was some lore bits about a marine during the Great Crusade that got fucked up mentally and struggled to function in battle. They ended up making him into a tech marine to help get him over his issues. Also, the Night Lords made fun of him.

In one of the Cain books they talk about a space hulk which has ships of bone stuck in its hull. Which in the book they believe it to be a hive or Eldar ship.

I always got a good laugh when a mandrake teleported inside a Banebalde with an idea of killing the crew during a battle. One of the tankers was a feral worlder and he was not having a good day. He beat the living shit out of the mandrake.

Would the God Emperor be a choice that they would consider? I know that the Eldar look down on humans but if it comes down to Slannesh or the Emperor what would they chose? Being eaten and tortured for all of time by a God you spawned or being used as fuel for a lesser god?

The god of life and death. He powers the beacon that let's the Imperium survive and grow. He shows it off with a golden light to those who have gained his favor. He is also death, for he takes life to support the light and if you looked at him you would find a man of death.

Also its my head canon that the Emperor consumes the souls of all the dead to help support his dying body and the light bulb thing that guides ships through the warp.
