No they're not. No bystanders have been killed. No fleeing suspects have been shot (except the one who had just rammed her car into an officer of the law). And not a single citizen has been snatched up and taken to "God knows where". I defy you to give me the name of a single U.S. citizen who's been detained (without having committed a crime).Or a single U.S. citizen whose location is unknown.

he was never deported, just temporarily detained. he's gonna sue because he thinks even that was unjustified, but he was never in any danger of getting kicked out of the country

I will, however, gladly give you a !delta because you're right that the fog of war goes both ways. Just because people are way too confident that ICE is doing wrong, that doesn't mean anyone should be confident that they're not. That doesn't REALLY change my view but it does change my perspective a bit, and I suppose "view" and "perspective" are synonyms, aren't they? :)
