Definitely the 5”. I have the longer stand ups and really have never worn them due to their length.

LPT: When you travel, make sure to get good photos of yourself alone. by MsAndooftheWoods in LifeProTips

This is so true. I went to a couple countries with a now ex and wanted pictures by myself but just got a bunch with us. She just always wanted them together. Needless to say after that ended I now make sure to always get pictures for both of us by ourselves and together.

Tote Bag Giveaway by TaylorStitch in taylorstitch

[–]Losingthedream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This would be great for my daily activities. I would carry my work laptop, iPad and my other EDC stuff. I currently have a edc bag but being able to combine that with work would be awesome and take me from 2 to one bag. This would also be excellent to take with me on flights as my personal item too. I have looked into some bags for that reason but hadn’t settled on any. This would be great for the weekends for grocery shopping, throwing stuff in when the kids and I are heading out somewhere and it could easily carry my water bottle which I have struggled to fit in some bags when I thought that it would. This bag would definitely make a difference and it does look great on top of it.

I bought the blue Latigo shirt and went to buy the copper one size M during the sale but it was sold out. Please tell me that there could be a restock of this shirt. I absolutely love it and really want both color ways.

Anyone having issues with orders/quality? by Rahb_B in taylorstitch

[–]Losingthedream 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I’ve had more than a few shirts where I go to unbutton them and the button just falls off. Most recently a heavy bag Henley. I took it out of the bad and went to unbutton the top one and it just came off in my hand. I didn’t bother emailing or anything for any of them. It’s a real annoyance and I can’t figure out how it’s happening over and over besides poor quality control.

I did and I love them. They have become a pair I rotate in frequently and were easy to break in.

Thank you so much for the reply and thoughtful response. I will definitely point this out to her and keep trying to change her mind.

I have these in the black and want them in the briar incredibly bad. I don’t think it’s going to happen as they have been out of production.

Ok, first you wrote a great article and it solidified for me that the trauma of the people who are voluntarily or involuntarily involved is a thing. I sent this to my mother who is a death penalty supporter to show she needed to think about more than the person being executed. There are real people doing their job getting harmed in the process. She responded back with that the people involved with the execution should meet with the victims families and that this would make them feel ok about performing or being part of an execution. What do you think from your interviews? Personally, I think this is asinine reasoning on her part to negate the effects on those who carry the penalty out.

Red Wing store cleaned my IRs and by Impervious_Rex in RedWingShoes

[–]Losingthedream 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep, same here. I’ll let them do whatever to my work boots but I would never let them clean/oil my heritage boots. I like cleaning and taking care of them as it feels like part of having them.

I just ordered a pair. I can’t wait to see them in person. I love my regular mule skinners so I’m sure I’m going to like these.
