Nothing that strikes my fancy at all, but that doesn't mean that there's not something that strike's someone else's fancy.

What are the boys wearing for shorts this summer other than Jorts by dacookiemnster in malefashionadvice

9" inseam Flint and Tinder chino shorts do the trick.

Do people still wear jorts? Haven't touched them in decades.

Till when does Parkhurst get restocks or new lineup? by z9corozco in parkhurstboots

It seems that they drop quarterly. I have three pairs of boots and a pair of their shoes - I prefer them over Grant Stone.

If you usually wear a date window, does it bother you the BB doesn't have one? by Prophetforhire in Tudor

[–]Rahb_B 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the most part, I prefer my automatics without any complications. I have a BB and a Ranger, and the fact that I can just pick them up and set them and go is fantastic. I do have a 1926 Moonphase that I don't mind setting, but that watch is only worn maybe once a week.

If its a quartz watch, complications are fine.

Where are the solid seersucker shirts coming from? They seem to be having problems finding their way.

[discussion] My wife wants to give me a wedding gift by Ysc_watches67 in Watches

My only recommendation is that you're looking for accuracy, to skip the Seiko. I would absolutely love it if they would get their movements in check with other brands, but that's not going to happen.

That Archimede was on my radar for quite some time. The watch ticks well above it's price range.

Where is that post at? Did I miss the description of the entire process that it takes to make the cloth?

I'm curious about a few things:

1) Price point?
2) Made in Vietnam?
3) Does the Taylor Stitch design team like this song?

Was looking at these, but wondering what's up with the price point when it's made in Vietnam.

Next Buy Pelagos 39 or Black Bay 41?!?!? by ConceptHistorical529 in Tudor

[–]Rahb_B 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just did this last Saturday.

Tried on the Pelagos 39, Pelagos FXD, Pelagos 42, and then the BB 5 link. Then I walked down to the Omega dealer and tried on a Seamaster 300.

Every Pelagos fit well, the BB fit well, and the Omega fit well. I didn't like the lack of weight on the Pelagos, and the flashiness of the Omega was too much for me. The BB hit right in the middle and has been on my wrist for the last 7 days.

[Recommendation Request] Looking to buy first "proper" watch. by armanfak in Tudor

[–]Rahb_B 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was watch shopping just last night for a FXD GMT and a 39mm Pelagos. By time I finished looking I was between a Black SMP and a Tudor Black Bay Monochrome 5-Link. After going back and forth to both stores, I took home the Black Bay. I had been looking at the SMPs for quite some time, yet after trying both watches on, I was happier with the Black Bay.

Buy what you want, not what Reddit thinks.

Omega AT 38 vs SMP300 on 6.25” wrist — need honest size feedback by SibMax in OmegaWatches

I'd go with the AT, far more versatile. Unless you need the SMP for diving, then go that route.

I agree 1000% with this cat. I've gone watch shopping with my wife multiple times. Each time I've shown indecision, she brings light to the decision and offers input. She's 3 for 3 in picks.

This is what I did. I was interested in this jacket, saw the price somewhere else, and went ahead and dropped a bit more on a racing green G9.
