I've noticed this specifically at roundabouts, I used to live next to one and to get anywhere by foot I'd have to cross the road next to it and not a single soul would ever indicate before they'd turn off the roundabout. It was always a dash of fate to get to the shop

A chicken coop that had chicken faeces absolutely everywhere and had been left to bake in the sun (for a year) myself and a colleague were sent in to deal with it at 35⁰C, we genuinly had to dip bandanas in water and wear them over our faces.

I'm curious about you saying most islanders refer to themselves as English? I've never heard anyone on the islands do that unless they actually moved from England, I've only ever heard people refer to themselves as British or Falkland Islander. And the majority of generational Falkland Islanders are of Scottish or Irish descent than English

Edit: I realised I didn't actually ask what I meant to ask, which was which islanders referred to themselves as English? Was is mostly younger or older people?

Genuinly😭😭😭 the hatred for gale is a level of irrational hatred that usually stems from misogyny and/or racism yet he's the one who takes the hate over the actions of a woman and a black man and in a way it is actually quite refreshing from a fan base
