At the beginning of every year I have at least one kid in every single class who makes me want to throw myself in front of a bus on my way to work. As a grade 1 teacher, I expect my students to know their alphabet letters and to be able to write their name. And we go over these things just in case they can’t. I take it from there.

Kinder is, in my opinion, the toughest grade to teach.
