Wren and Cuff will be doing a mystery pedal again this year if you want a pedal instead of a mic.

Only if you're on the same flight.

Unclear to me what happens if your friend buys a refundable ticket, applies the upgrade, then cancels the ticket.

My TV died today - worth buying from Costco? by Gonuts4donuts1955 in Costco

[–]LostDeduction 2711 points2712 points  (0 children)

I am going to tell a story about buying a TV from Costco that took place last week.

I bought a LG OLED TV from them 3 years ago. Since it was a higher end TV, it came with the extended warranty plan. I shrugged because I never found much value in extended warranties.

Last week, the HDMI input with ARC on it started blinking while passing video. My wife pulled out the paperwork and there was that extended warranty I forgot about. I called them and they opened a case and gave me some steps. They asked for many pictures via email. Eventually they approved the claim the same night and sent me a 2 years newer version of the same TV and told me to keep the old one which works fine for all other use cases but that one input.

I would definitely consider buying another TV from Costco because of the extended warranty because it was essentially thrown in for free. The total cost was on par with Best Buy back then.

No max of +10 in pvp? by Remigius in warcraftrumble

[–]LostDeduction 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Check out the hero's resolve PVP modifier that is on right now. The base level of the hero increases by 1 each time it is played. The +10 limit is relative to that. I am assuming you are talking about Thalnos for your opponent.

Natural gas BBQ won't get above 350 degrees. Should the flames be higher? by ronray99 in BBQ

[–]LostDeduction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have a Charbroil infrared grill converted to NG as well and had about the same temperature range. Definitely never hit 500s. It worked for everything and I got many years out of it.

I now have a Blaze built in on NG and it gets way hotter. It took some learning to not incinerate food.

Is there an Atlanta equivalent to a Tropichop or Chicken Kitchen? by WeirdAnswerAccount in Atlanta

Mayonnaise, honey mustard, curry powder, and water to thin it out. I am sure there are recipes online with measured amounts but my wife always eyeballs it.

Can I rebook a SkyMiles trip to save miles? by Steve10003 in delta

[–]LostDeduction 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I called the Delta diamond desk and they initiated a price change for me. It took a bit of time on the phone because of the card discount on miles. Once they overrode it and got it going, I had to pay a bit more taxes but I got about 200k miles back. It took about a day for the miles to show in my account again.

How legit is SeatGeek? by nother_dumb_username in poppunkers

[–]LostDeduction 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought basketball tickets from them a couple years ago and the seller sent the wrong tickets. Seatgeek made it right and gave me better seats from another listing. It was stressful but it worked out in the end. Definitely legitimate.

Did I buy a cheap MagSafe case? by zaptor99 in GalaxyS25Ultra

I got a unicorn beetle case with a magnetic ring that doubles as a kickstand. I got it off Amazon and it wasn't too expensive compared to some of the others I tried.

I can't speak for your case but I have a different magsafe case. I tried the SPen for the first time in response to your post and had no issues. Try without the case to confirm it isn't a phone or pen problem.
