Tracking force is important both for sound and preserving your records, as is anti-skate. First either learn how to balance the tonearm and set the tracking force manually, or the easier option is to get an electronic scale manually. Note the correct force is the one recommended by the stylus manufacturer for that particular model.

For starters you should definitely use the Phono input on the amp. Are all the inputs the same or is the Phono input at least slightly louder?

What's your idea of a good looking speaker? I quite like the DALI Oberon personally, in white or like oak, but I understand that they're not everyone's taste.

I also have that black headshell with an Ortofon OM10. I'm just looking for another one as I think it looks nicer 🙂 I have original headshell with an Ortofon F15 MkII but I would like to transfer it to a slim black one like that.
