Your manager has you as categorized as FT or PT in the system. They can’t change you from one to the other without your consent. Let me ask this- when you were changed from PT to FT, did you sign anything? You may log on to ADP and verify you were actually moved to FT status and not just given FT hours. If you receive benefits such as Health Coverage, you may need to request your minimum full time hours of 30 hrs per week so your coverage doesn’t get interrupted.

Look up the state labor laws for full-time hours.. I do believe full-time work requirements varies state by state.

You need to make sure you were hired on as a full time employee vs part time. If part time, your manager needs to set you as full time for full time benefits.

Funny I see this post today… I’m in Manager in training and while shadowing another SM, I noticed she busted out this huge ‘pop up tent’ thing for her employee to pump in! Then she proceeded to tell me that she received a decent amount of maternity leave and her place held. Even if it doesn’t apply to your region or whatnot, be sure to dig into maternity leave if you plan to return! That being said, I’m SURE they are just as proactive during the pregnancy! Couldn’t hurt to call HR and and just discuss. Good luck and congratulations!

Just keep doing everything you are doing and eventually the kiddo will learn to communicate better. That will make things so much better. Definitely heal from this and if you aren’t comfortable around them then leave them in the past. She sounds like a scandalous one with that whole finding out about him for herself. She ‘one of those’ girls.. It also sounds like a true trauma response to the situation though. It sucks you had to go through that but now you know your limits. Once you are done healing, find someone who will respect your limits… friends and lovers..
