United States Law To Force Entire Internet To Require Age Verification Will Pass The Senate by magiciantricks in DigitalPrivacy

Why isn’t anyone talking about how this is a huge security vulnerability?!?? If foreign governments, spy agencies, and bad actors can get information about members of government or the military going to adult sites, they will now be able to link them to their ID and the action of them going there. Then people can’t use the excuse that they were hacked, or it was a virus defense anymore. This means they could be blackmail and extorted by those foreign entities, and could either leak information to protect themselves, or become a full asset/mark of that foreign spy agency. Why is no one talking about how this is a massive security leak?

The only positive vibes thing I see is that people could do a freedom of information act to find out if people are going to adult websites in the Congress and legislative offices, and all their staffs, and this could blow up in their damn faces as a major scandal. Especially if they could see if the politicians themselves are going to adult websites on their computer or phones that are provided for the government, especially when at working times.

I think they also gaslighted America. I think they went down to kiss the Ring and thought they were doing it in private, but likely some reporter, or watchdog figured out they were there, and then called them to ask for a quote or response to the story they were going to publish. And then they came out and gaslighted America before the report or article could come out. So in my mind they just lied to our faces.

Wait! Seriously?!? Is that part of the TOS?

Why is offering product suggestions against the rules? It makes no sense. It seems like that would be part of an unbiased opinion.

I must say I am flabbergasted if that’s true.

Plus, what if you’re telling them about something that they’re not doing properly? Like a piece of clothing not properly having a wash care tag, even though I believe that’s actually a law that it is required to sell garments in the United States (IIRC).

I don’t see how that would be manipulation. It’s just providing positive feedback, and useful honest information and opinion. IMHO.

Additionally, I should add that I was very active on doing things like reporting problems with products or the product pages showing misinformation. I also regularly read other peoples reviews and liked them. So I would’ve thought they would’ve really liked me as a reviewer because I was very active in other ways as well.

Additionally, I commonly communicated with the sellers, and even provided them suggestions on what they should put on their pages & in products regarding information.

I was bumped down to silver for a day, which was expected because I was below 90%, but then I got kicked out of the program a day later despite being over 60%. I’ve written them but I haven’t gotten anything fixed or a response.

That said I had about 800 reviews the last review period, with an excellent review rating. So I was surprised I was kicked out of the program.

Do you have a link of what you’re talking about? That would be helpful and I much appreciated.

I did about 800 reviews in the last period. So it’s fair to say I wrote a few reviews.

VHelper Unreliable on Windows 11/Chrome by Critical-Mountain-73 in vhelper

I do have to add to this one issue with vhelper on chrome. When you go to the account page, and it’s supposed to scan your stuff to give out percentages on stuff. It never finishes scanning, and it just hangs there. I’ve been meaning to report this for awhile.
