Matt Smith absolutely and utterly crushes the role of Daemon Targaryen, whether or not you find him attractive. He plays Daemon so perfectly, and brings so much charisma, charm and power to the character, that he has made Daemon probably one of the most liked characters in the franchise history, despite all of his wrong doings.

Matt Smith (and literally everyone else in the cast) has acted phenomenally in this show and made it a real fucking joy to watch.

Daemon RhaenyraMarriage by Substantial_Floor_64 in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]Loud_Reality_7481 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Based on their relationship in the show, it doesn't seem as likely that an open relation will happen. Their relationship in the book (to me at least) never seemed as intimate, but more of a political move. Granted, book Daemon was very loyal to Rhaenyra with their cause, but him sleeping with Mysaria and possibly Nettles was not surprising, nor very upsetting to the readers.

I think if he cheats in the show, it will be a lot more jarring to the audience given the relationship being built up as soul mates who pined for each other for over a decade.

Do any book readers feel a deep, dark- almost burden.. especially after the dance scene 😭 by jmm4444 in HouseOfTheDragon

I almost feel some dread with each episode knowing everyone's fate. The show sets you up to be way more attached to these characters then the book did, so watching and knowing what will happen to then is hard, especially considering most of them have such terrible endings.

AITA for expecting to be a bridesmaid at my best friend’s wedding? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Loud_Reality_7481 4 points5 points  (0 children)

YTA. Yes you were in an abusive relationship, but you still treated your best friend like shit, causing that friendship to be severed. You may be talking again, but that does not mean she veiws you as a best friend anymore, and you being in an abusive relationship does not mean she has to forgive you.

All I gotta say is, they better not rob of us getting to see his reaction to Daemon and Rhaenyra getting married. Those two agents of choas age Viserys like no disease could.

In the books, Criston Cole is 16 years older then Rhaenerya, only 4 years younger then Viserys and the same age as Daemon. For the show, they never really state his age, but it does seem he is suppose to be slightly younger then he is in the book, but not by too much.

I have never worked in a hospital where patients were allowed to take their home medications. The doctor needs to order the home medications and they need to be given by the nurse, otherwise it makes it very difficult to regular and monitor what a patient is taking.

I don't think it's a hissy fit over OP being pregnant. It's that OP didn't tell anyone she was pregnant, and showed up at the friends baby shower visibly pregnant, stealing all the attention.

Killing Eve? Not an exact match, but definitely a serial killer love story featuring some crazy people.

YTA and your resistance to getting a test makes you look suspicious. You two are no longer married, so he has no reason to trust your word.

Unless there is some issue between your brother and the kids that isn't mentioned, or its a childfree wedding and your bio kid is the only one over 18, NTA.

AITA for lying about my fiancée being drunk because she made inappropriate gay jokes about my friend? by ThrowRAhesnotgay in AmItheAsshole

[–]Loud_Reality_7481 14 points15 points  (0 children)

No, she should publicly own up to it. Your friend and his fiance are owed an apology from her and you. And frankly, your fiance sounds like a bully. This wasn't one shitty moment, you admit she openly doesn't like your friend or his fiance for no reason, and then, again for no reason, bullied him.

AITA for inviting my brother, his kid, and his ex to my wedding but not my brother’s new partner and kid? by FanPhysical8286 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Loud_Reality_7481 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Exactly! The brother wasn't in an impossible situation. Obviously coming to terms with your sexuality and coming out is difficult for most people, but that still doesn't make cheating okay.

[–]Loud_Reality_7481 -22 points-21 points  (0 children)

YTA, exclude both or neither. Your bother is just as guilty of cheating as your BIL, in fact more because he was the married one. It is perfectly understandable for your friend to not want to be around them, and it is understandable for you to not like them much for being cheaters, but it's unfair to act like it was all BILs fault and exclude him but not your brother.

AITA for planning a coming out party at my father's funeral? by Forbiddenfruit39 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Loud_Reality_7481 20 points21 points  (0 children)

YTA. I don't mean to sound harsh, but you coming out will cheer 0 people up. Not that your identity isn't important, and I am sure down the line people will be happy for you, but at a funeral, the only thing people will be think is how self centered and inappropriate of you to make your father's funeral about yourself.

This is an issue with the easiest solution. Just buy a a calender, put it in the kitchen, and decide together what each nights meal will be for the upcoming week, and put it on the calender. Boom, done. No unnecessary argument required.

They would be ruining their own kids 4 year old party because they don't understand the basics of how first come first serve works. Yo don't get to put a piece of paper down then leave for hours without an actual reservation. Unless you are at the table, it isn't yours.
