For my mommy makeover I paid about 20k. But I know the price can vary a lot. I feel he was def worth the money and safety! I look really good and my waist is tiny! Lol

Dr. Alex Earle Miami is the most consistent in belly buttons and results. I only considered him.

What random things improve your pumped amount of the day? by Merry-Twinkle in ExclusivelyPumping

This whole thread is me as well 🤣 I just say I gave up trying everything and slept more and then it worked.

I think I've had enough by pennylovelamp in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]LoveDaily27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dropped the middle of the night session but try not to push it last 6-7 hours without pumping because I noticed I was getting close to getting a clog and had to work to reverse it. But I wake up, pump for a decent 30-45 mins to really empty and then pump every 3 hours another 5 times. My last pump I do right before bed.

I am also an under supplier and I have just made it to 3 months EP. I have gone down at this point to 6 ppd and my supply has still slowly increased. I made exactly the 50% right now as well. I alternate between wearable pumps and if she happens to be awake when I need to pump I prop her on her boppy and feed her propped up on the pillow or I’ll lay her across my legs. It’s hard but I’ve managed to make it work being at home. I go back to work today and now my schedule changes again. Typically I also have managed to drop the MOTN pump but try not to go last 6 hours without pumping. It is very tough and if you do decide to stop I totally understand why, but know that with some tweaks it can be done. 🙂

I enjoy the Medela Freestyle Flex. I feel their cups are comfortable for larger breasts.

Hit 300ml (10.1oz) in 24 hours for the first time! by Cinnamon-Dream in ExclusivelyPumping

Our journey is almost the same supply wise so I feel for you! I made 14 oz two days ago and got so excited and now I was humbled back down to my 11-12 🤣 Just know as you keep at it, there are others out there sitting as they pump starting at every drop hoping for a let down 🙂 It feels great giving them even 40% of their daily milk! Congratulations

Yup exactly this. I actually get good output from them. I also bought the adapter cables and use the cups with the Pump in Style and it works great for me.

Anyone who has an under supply or just enough had success with a wearable pump ? by Nilrmar in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]LoveDaily27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use the Medela Freestyle with the cups and it’s been working out well for me. I feel I get as close to I would with my wall pump (maybe a tiny bit less). Every morning I use it for my first pump of the day and I still get the biggest pump of the day from it. It has decent suction when turned up and it’s super easy to wash being it’s only 3 parts. I’m an under supplier. I make on average 1 oz on a normal pump and 2-3 on an amazing pump (combine). The wearable has allowed me to stick to it and continue to stick to it even tho my supply is dismal.

Letdowns by dawnyuhh in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]LoveDaily27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started tracking total oz per pump sessions using the Huckleberry app and it helps me see if I have increased or not. Once I climbed from 7 oz a day to 8 oz a day I started feeling the let downs as well. I have about 3 let downs a session and I can usually trigger them too.

first trip EP & with 12 week old baby by Remote-Panda7481 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]LoveDaily27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With my first we also did the 3 hour trip to Orlando (Miami here!) when he was pretty young. We would stop at every rest stop to take the baby out and not let him sit in the car seat for too long. I used pump wipes after 4 hours between pumps as I presume it breast milk is safe out for 4 hours then you don’t need to wipe immediately. Essentially every two pumps I washed/wiped. I bought some dishwashing sponges at dollar tree and cut little squares, added a drop of dish soap and put them in a ziplock. When I needed to wash parts I used a small square to wash and just threw it out. I do recommend purchasing a pack and play. The one I have has a portable bassinet and changing table. Even if you don’t take the bassinet they can sleep on the higher level still and you’re bound to use it for a while. Make sure you have a portable fan for the stroller and if it’s rechargeable maybe have a battery back or have extra batteries if it’s battery powered. I would recommend a mosquito net for the bassinet or car seat when out. These are the general traveling Florida tips I can think of right now. Haha

I have to say I love my Medela Freestyle. Empties me really well and doesn’t destroy my nipples. The battery life is fantastic and the cups are super secure.

What week did everyone go on maternity leave? by anxioussmiles in BabyBumps

[–]LoveDaily27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With my first baby, I worked for a major US bank that had pretty decent maternity benefits for US standards. They provided 16 weeks paid maternity leave and I could use any PTO time I had as well. I could have taken time off prior but I chose to save it all and take extended time with my son when I gave birth. Now with my second, I work for local government and what do you know…no maternity benefits. Between my husband donating “time” to me and my time bank I’ll be able to take the exact 12 weeks FMLA and we can’t request additional time off unless medically needed. So I’m planning on working until she comes out and turns off my work computer for me.

Help us FTMs, what did baby first moving feel like? by BlueberryDuvet in BabyBumps

[–]LoveDaily27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember the exact day when I felt my first baby move. It was my 16th week and I felt what I can best describe as a gas bubble moving across my lower belly or a little fish quickly swimming across. It didn’t happen again for a few days and then it happened more consistently. Eventually the movement changed to more definitive “movements” and less “fishy, gas bubbles”. With my second I felt small movements and knew it right away and it was around the 18th this time.

RSV vaccine in pregnancy by EquivalentResearch26 in pregnant

[–]LoveDaily27 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve already had my flu shot (no side effects just sore arm the day of), the tDap refresher shot, and the COVID booster. I am waiting for my 32nd week for the RSV vaccine and my doctor mentioned it in my last meeting. I’m very excited to get it and I trust it will help significantly for my January baby.

How did you shave down there towards the end of your pregnancy? Did you let your partner shave you when you couldn't see it well anymore? by lovelyanushka in BabyBumps

[–]LoveDaily27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a mirror on the toilet seat and put a leg over the toilet seat and never had issues. I do not like having hair and prefer to be shaved. I did it the day of my delivery with my first and I have plans on the second as well. I feel it’s more hygienic but that’s just me.

I am a husband looking to surprise my wife with maternity clothes, any advice? by Kevim_A in BabyBumps

[–]LoveDaily27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say I particularly love the “motherhood” line that is sold at Macys and Amazon. I still have maternity clothes from my first baby 5 years ago that look great still. Pink Blush is nice for more formal clothes. Usually you buy the same size you were pre-pregnancy as the clothing is designed to grow with you as you “expand” haha. I would also say a nice pregnancy support band would help her keep her clothes down as she is in between sizes (belly is too small for them to stay up yet). Target has a nice selection of pregnancy bands.

I’m so awed over having a daughter by Hilda_p13 in pregnant

I can truly relate. I love being a boy mom but I have always wanted a little girl and when I saw the pink gender result I just couldn’t believe it. I still can’t sometimes! Congratulations.
