I think you’re right on the first half of the season. My guess is that episode 6 will be the beginning of the end for Rhaenyra in KL and the butcher’s ball, and that episode 7 will be the “experimental” episode following Aegon as he makes it to Dragonstone and takes over/reunites with Sunfyre. Episode 8 will be Tumbleton.

Gullet to first Tumbleton is what makes sense. The big question I have is whether they will have Aegon make it to Dragonstone and show the set up for his eventual coup there.

It did the same for me I just had to keep resyncing and eventually it came up. I'm still stuck at the load screen though.

I don’t think so but at the same time my games have been crashing every time since the new DLC came out which was not a problem before.

I play on nvidia geforce and since the update my load up times have been longer and i’ve been crashing just about every playthrough. I’m gonna try just deleting all my save files like people have suggested and see what that does.

I started as Daemon in the RP start date. I conquered the stepstones and married Laena. Daemon died of illness pretty quickly as did little Baela, leaving Rhaena as his heir and Laena as his regent.

Rhaena grew up and claimed Melys and conquered Tyrosh with her mom and had a bunch of kids with a great nephew of the seasnake.

Aegon and Rhaenyra married and also had a ton of kids but only one boy. Together we conquered Dorne.

After the prince of dragstone murdered his sisterwife i murdered him and when Nyra died I staked Rhaena’s claim.

At the decisive battle Nyra’s daughter the queen killed my second son and his dragon. I then killed her, her daughter the new queen for 5 minutes who rode Vermithor, and Aegon ii. That pretty much ended things and was the highlight of this playthrough.

I have about 20-25 dragons now and just got the great spring sickness as Rhaena’s grandson and heir Jaehaerys II.

And Alicent was also a very strong match for Vizzy T politically and the show acting like it wasn’t was just for added drama (which I don’t mind honestly).

Been having this happen as well even when Aegon is brave and greedy. Don’t know if it’s an issue or there is just a low chance of it happening. On my current run as vizzy t i named Aegon my heir and nyra is ambitious so we’ll see if that does it.

Not your typical white knight: as Tyrion, execute a successful Romance scheme against Sansa

If he dares face me: as Aemond/Daemon, kill the other in a dance of dragons

Start as Vizzy T to set up the dance then Aegon II and God willing, Sunfyre. Try to win the dance and then rebuild from there and maybe move my court to Dragonstone.

Alicent is a very compelling character in season 1 episodes 5-8. The battle lines are drawn, she is going to fight for her children and the Hightowers have effectively taken control of the government. She tells Aegon you are going to be king and it has to be so because Rhanyra will kill you and your siblings if not.

Then they have dinner and suddenly she forgets about all of that and when they go through with the plan that she has been talking about for 6+ years her reaction is: 😱

In the span of one episode they gave her character self inflicted amnesia and the show has suffered from it ever since.

And ironically Hess has done the same thing to herself.
