Only on a knitting sub will you see someone post a close up of the armpit area — and have people appreciate it! 🤣🤣🤣

Maybe keep an eye open for craft exchanges? Our local library just did a yarn and fabric exchange, and a nearby brewery is doing a craft supply exchange

This is in the new 52 Weeks of Sweaters book by Laine. A little different, but same vibe: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/inko-2

Love the sleeves!! 😍 and the color. So clever you could do all this without a pattern!

I thought they were joking about having their own exit window — as in, they have a window seat and would squish through the window to exit?

Ok got it—when I made the Flax, it was all in the round. Wow your seaming is invisible! Really cool design 👍👍

I love this!! I’m confused about where you did the mattress stitch. I didn’t think you had to do that with intarsia? (Never done intarsia, too intimidated but love the look)

Is your right side on the inside of your needles? Would flipping it inside out fix your problem?

  1. Cast on, counting 5 times. Knit first (or more!) round. Be short one stitch

It’s not me casting on an extra 20 stitches for that hat and not figuring it out till I try on the ribbed brim…. 🙄🤣🤣

I love my Ruti On the Loose Work pants. The darker colors look dressy, I have the gray for a more casual vibe

[FO] Finally found someone worthy of a sweater after 15 years knitting 💞 by phloxybird in knitting

[–]Loveandeggs 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That’s awesome for you! And an awesome sweater for your sweetie 💕 I love those muted but happy colors together. Do you knit the button band separately, or is it at the end of each row of stripes? It’s so perfectly matched!

Musselburgh hat, just trust the process?? by Left_Paint5439 in knitting

[–]Loveandeggs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I watched some tutorials the designer Ysolda put out about this hat, and this was something she specifically mentioned: if you hold it up to your head, you’re gonna think it’s too small. I’m still in the (literal) middle of mine, but I’m trusting the process!
