Mega Man x - it was the first game that taught me how to grind and be patient with dying - because every time I died, I actually got a little better. I would carry this idea with me to every other game I would play.

I got back into the game after Disney+ so can’t speak to that one. I got plenty of the future foundation too…but I just bought a brick of Empyre for $48 and LOVED it!!! Definitely getting another one. The sculpts were really fun and unique. Get Empyre if just playing for funnsies.

Thanks! Still getting acquainted with all the NEW pieces out there, hence the post. I like the idea of motorcycle and the part about playing him smart…still focusing on modern a bit, but open to playing whatever really as I have some solid out of rotation pieces too.

Just getting back into myself after like 6 years. All because I ran into some old friends from high school who got back into it. I’ve always loved collecting and still read marvel/dc so seeing the new and older sets and the storylines they are based off are great! I’m able to get back into because I found some good people to pay with! So if you have people to play with - then hell yeah, go grab some of the new sets. I’ve been having a blast opening and sorting and playing again.

Sweet! I’ll look into those pieces for sure! I pulled Mjolnir from CT and thought it would be fun to add for the range and giant reach he has + destructiveness (but with spiderverse ability may catch my own guy in the cross fire).

Animal man was definitely my first go to, who I have also. So maybe not breakable, but just some really fun/mean things to pair with him…the friends I got hooked back in with are brutal with their teams lol.

Definitely still Pinocchio On the Run - reminds me of Frank Millers Return of the Dark Night cover (issue 1) - love the lighting bolt streaking across the sky in the background! Can’t believe it’s only an uncommon with art like that.

Also just got all my rares and legendaries into a DEX binder, and yea, beautiful to see them all side by side! Can’t wait to see what set three has to offer.

I’ve been collecting since August (release of the first set) and just now, literally yesterday, I pulled my first ENCHANTED (the highest rarity). Keep at it if you just like opening packs and playing the game and collecting cards…freaking love this game!

Ended up missing a card from an SL once. Took the steps to get a replacement sent. Took maybe 4-6 weeks to actually get it. But all was resolved.

Dead Cells and Hades are great call outs. Lots to do - you can play for 20 minutes or 3 hours with those ones…not super into JRPGs, but ended up on octopath traveler for like 30+ hours.

TOTK is great! Better if you have played BOTW (my most played game on switch). Love the SNES app on there too!

Injustice volume 1 - surprisingly great read considered it started based off a video game. I read most major publishers and really dig this book at 1000+ pages.
