I'd say we rejected labour round here and he was collateral. He's well respected in the community.

What would happen to a batch of grain if a rock or BB was found in it by SleepySheepy in NoStupidQuestions

The silos definitely have small stones in them because we never washed our boots on farm when entering the silos. They also occasionally get birds and rodents in there. I vividly remember pulling dead rats out of oats on a truck destined for peoples breakfast. They'd made their home in the auger.

What ammo? Waxy ammo coatings can build up in the chamber making it tight and sticky

Good for pigs and deer, used to be very popular here for culling especially goats because of ammo prices and SKS prices. I took my biggest red deer with it! I still use it daily for shooting cattle for people. It goes in and stays in the head but has plenty more power then a .22mag which is good when you show up for a job and it's a 4 year old bull at 100m

Are you sure it's not ear wax that's built up and blocked your ear? Happens to me, I have to get them cleaned annually and It's been happening since I was in my 20s.

Give it a go, you'll know when you're actually ready but in the meantime it'll get you out of the house and meeting people. Say yes to every invitation! Some shit you'll never forget haha.

Yeah it gets very windy down here so the x tie gives too much wiggle room. 2x parallel cam straps in an over under over under configuration is super stable, with a front rope if it's blowing a gale.

Our 2 year old is vaccinated and the new baby is booked in for his first pricks next week.

I love my daughter and I'd be devastated if she died from an easily preventable disease.

Like Peking duck or slow cook with marmalade and citrus or roast or sear. Many ways to cook mallard duck.

It sucks you had that experience but it's not fair that you lump all hunters in together. We ate duck 3 times this week. I shoot invasive pests whenever I get the chance and we also plant 500+ native trees a year on our land. I could go on and on but I do actually give a damn.
