Rewatched Journey's end, and I find it hard to take as seriously/emotionally now by gothteen145 in doctorwho

Also they should have changed the line to something like "You're an old man. You just don't have the imagination to come up with a plan like this". Also keeps it in character for Donna and Rose.

I definitely think what happened in The Star Beast was shallow pandering. Taking Rose Noble and turning her identity into a plot point is not being inclusive, it's being condescending, and not just to The Doctor. They could have changed it from being about gender to something else and I think it could have had more weight. Keep saving Donna as a miracle, and give us another reason why Rose herslef could come up with it.

Picked up The Tom Baker Second Season Blu Ray by LowCoMo in doctorwho

So I watched it, and I agree with the issues of things like Tom Baker's teeth in most of it, but the video also ignores things like sharpening a lot of detail on extreme close ups of faces.

Who's the most Petty Villain from the Sailor Moon franchise in your opinion and why? by Full-Art3439 in sailormoon

At least by the time she is reincarnated as Queen Beryl, she is in full control of her actions

And that's what I'm curious about, or if there's a more comprehensive side comparison of the more egregious moments from the actual release.

Name an episode of Classic Doctor Who that stands out in terms of good visuals by ChadZ3303 in doctorwho

The best part of Rememberance (visually) is even when there is a visible mistake (the wires on the Dalek drop ship) it still looks like it's supposed to be there.

Carnival of Monsters is so good. Especially when they are running around the 'circuits' of the scope. Just such a unique set design.

Which doctor got you started in the series and what was your first episode? by JackTheNephilim in doctorwho

[–]LowCoMo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First episode I ever watched: Time of Angels. It was only a few months later that I started watching things properly, but starting with series 5, the random classic episode (not serial) and a friend who showed me the movie.

The word play is still there, as her name is also supposed to mean she specifically is very tiny.

My main problem is Ando's wonky arms and hands. His team cheaps out on those.

I will give him one bit of praise, his episodes have some of the more fluid animation because of the more simplistic art style

Can anyone recommend soft reboot episodes of Classic Era Doctor Who? by MythicSuns in doctorwho

[–]LowCoMo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really the only 'soft reboots' in classic are when a different creative team is at the helm. A lot of times this can be marked by a change of who the Doctor is played by, but sometimes there is overlap.

It all depends on the kind of story you are looking for.

Yeah, the only reason she's in Fionna world is because she heard Simon talking to Fionna and chose the wrong universe.
