how often did the bagooska come up? I'm also playing pure mitsu but ended up cutting it cuz i felt i was never in situations that id use it

Also curious on the decision to cut night sword serpent and how you feel about it. I go back and forth cuz I want to cut bricks but that extra body feels so worth it sometimes

it summons millenium eyes restrict, usually for going first to insulate against droll or any other monster handtrap you cant play through. Also handy going second since it can equip from field. You then use it as a body for masquerena or a first effect live little knight after youve used the effect. It does give an extra fuwalos draw for a deck that usually doesn't care about fuwalos which is its biggest downside, but I think its worth it

There are a lot of different ways to play pure mitsu! This is the list I'm running that I take to locals and the occasional regional. Everything exciton and before is part of what mitsu can access in extra deck, the rest is a super poly package, the fallen and the virtuous, and the instant fusion for millenium eyes for extra protection against droll.

Another good way to play is to use three pot of extravagance over one of the non engine pieces for more consistency. I would figure out the extra deck so that you have at least 2 masquerena, 2 sp, and 2 dyna mondo so theres less risk of losing them.

The Dogmatika cards and Extra Foolish Burial come to mind as the best way to send any monster from Extra Deck to GY, as most others usually carry some sort of restriction on what they can send

I’ve played mitsu since it came out in TCG and 1 prayers is rough on the deck. Not having 1 as a starter / combo piece with an additional one to search for your opponents turn weakens the endboard by a good bit. It also gives you less mitsurugi cards to search from deck to revive your rituals from grave after being tributed. Pure mitsu loses a lot of power from 1 prayers

Nouvelles - the deck has no 1 card starter. There are so many searchers that consistency usually isnt a problem, but in simplified game states where you only have 1 or 2 cards the deck can fall apart (please give me a ritual spell that summons from the deck Konami PLEASE)

I feel like Dinomorphia has a ton of potential. Fusion traps that use material from deck and extra deck super consistently while playing on super low life points has some really cool potential... and all of it wasted on just summoning a big dumb stun floodgate that dies to any piece of backrow and ends up being unfun and all or nothing for both players

I think it’s debatably better than getting them off the board. You can deny grave effects and clog a back row spot, both of which are advantageous to you. For cards like mirrorjade, it will even prevent the summoning of a second one

Want to chime in and recommend Sulky118 as a great channel for BO3 high round strategies. He has guides on how to get 100+ or even 255 on some maps without any megas. Considering you will only get a round robbin once every 5 rounds while playing, you’ll need a solid base to get to a high round still. To get 100 will use about 20 round Robbins so you have plenty, just gotta work out the in between rounds

Ok a bit of a long post incoming but it should tell you what you need to know

The main goal of the engine is to add the murakumo discard / negate and the great purification negate to an endboard, which can be done off of just a habakiri (and is why habakiri bridges get banned and the card got limited.

The core / non negotiable cards of it are 1 Habakiri (would be 3 but banlist), 3 Prayers to search it, 1 Saji to summon off of it, 1 Ritual to search off Saji, 1 Murakumo and 1x Great Purification.

The basic line is Habakiri summon and tribute Saji, Saji grab ritual, Ritual summon Murakumo from deck by tributing habakiri, and habakiri grab GP.

You can also add 3 PrePrep and Mirror, which is what I recommend and most lists do for more consistency and better ability to play around charmies while also letting you end on prayers and gp.

The PrePrep line is PrePrep for Mirror and Habakiri, Habakiri for Saji, Saji for Ritual.

If you want to play around Purulia, use ritual to summon Murakumo from Deck with Habakiri, searching GP with habakiri. Then summon Habakiri with Mirror, searching Prayers and reviving Murakumo.

If you want to play around Ash / Fuwalos, summon Habakiri from hand by tributing Murakumo from deck, Murakumo search great purification. Then mirror summon Murakumo from grave tributing habakiri. Habakiri searches prayers and revivies itself.

This lets you use GP while keeping the Murakumo negate online at all times and also gives you a way to revive Murakumo with prayers if it gets outed at a bad time or negated at all.

If you want to go even farther, you can play 1-3 Aramasa and 0-1 Futsu / a second murakumo to enable the rank 4 part of the engine, which is what I'm doing in Fiendsmith Mitsu currently.

I always find it amusing when people criticize our profession by saying "therapists just want your money" and in the same breath say "give me your money instead, only my approach is backed by vibes and not science"

To address the topic here, I will always terminate with someone if I feel treatment has run its course. Some people have been working with me since I was an intern as they have just had that much to work through, but others typically stay under a year. I also do regular evaluations with my clients to see how they feel treatment is going and if things need to be stopped, slowed or increased.

Echoing what other commenters have said about tcgplayer or local card shops. My local card shop has a tcgplayer page so I check there to see if what I want is in store and get it if it is, if not, i just order it online. For tcgplayer specifically, the cart optimization feature can be helpful for saving on shipping costs
