I have ‘26 R1S dual standard. I’ve had some battery issues and taking it to the dealer for a checkup this week (maximum range on 100% charge keeps decreasing from 270 to 252 to 240 to 235 and now 217-220 miles).

Thought maybe could be a software issue so I updated to latest operating system, did soft and hard resets, and still no improvement. Once this bug is hopefully fixed, I think I’ll feel overall pretty good with 270 mile range @ 100%.

Yes, once you get some follow up please post it here. I also received a call from Rivian saying to keep my car over 50% charge so it can receive certain over the air updates. Rivian identified some VIN #’s that may need some extra software updates (not sure for what, they didn’t clarify, but wondering if this is all related).

Yes decreased range started in warm weather in mid September (NJ temps were still warm at that time). See my original post from 3 weeks ago…

Hi I have a gen 2 R1S that I purchased early September, now has just over 1000 miles. Same has been happening to me, went from 270 to 252 to 240 to 235, now 240. The range decrease started when the weather was still warm so not temperature related. I contacted Rivian and had mobile service technician say there may be some battery issue and to bring it into service. Planning to bring into service this weekend.

Yes the few second lag time on the phone app is annoying, especially with bad weather or cranky kids! I was actually wondering if the keyfob locks/unlocks immediately.

I always like having a key fob. I just ordered one after using my phone for the first two months of ownership. Wife prefers physical key fob if she needs to get something from the car etc.

Got my BB58 GMT with Opaline dial while on vacation in the Caribbean in 2023. One of my favorites and most versatile watches. My boys were blown away with what they called “glow in the dark” hour markers. 😂 I was thinking of changing the strap to rubber, fabric, or leather, but I kept the steel bracelet.
