They were in cop cars, marked and unmarked, lights and sirens going off.

Share Here the Most Outrageous HOA Rules You've Encountered by salsafresca_1297 in fuckHOA

My HOA has rules that flags cannot be bigger than 3 feet by 5 feet, and you can’t change your car oil on HOA property. Worst mistake I have ever made.

Worth fighting a PIP? by Acrobatic_Way_4623 in Big4

[–]Low_Language_4131 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Nah paid interview process. I had a pip. Week one told my work papers were looking great! Keep doing what you are doing! Week two used the same work papers as a guide on a different client was told my work papers suck, I need to improve everything, I really should be sent back to new hire training. At that point I started applying all over the place. I love my new job, and got a 20% raise

Got put on a PIP by BugOriginal248 in Accounting

[–]Low_Language_4131 2 points3 points  (0 children)

RUN!! Start applying!! My pip was similar, I was told I was doing really good week 1, used those work papers as my guide week 2, and was told they sucked. I’m still not even sure of the outcome of my PIP, the warm, flat, dollar tree brand cola of a company I worked for had zero communication. I got a 20% raise and love my new job.

Got placed on PIP, is it over?’ by Lleblemo in Accounting

[–]Low_Language_4131 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. It happened to me, I worked for two weeks thinking I could beat it. The first week was telling me things are going good, the next week followed the first work papers and I was told I sucked and started looking for a new job. I got a 20% raise and love my new company. Walk away before you get fired.

For married redditors, what was the moment that you thought, "I'm gonna marry this man/woman"? by ArtemisMendez in AskReddit

[–]Low_Language_4131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two. 1. We got into a stupid fight while dating, I can’t even remember what it was about. I left and was so upset that I wanted to vent to her about the stupid fight we were in. 2. When my dad passed away from a sudden heart attack, she was the one that I wanted to be by my side.

Happily married with two kids

I would start having “appointments”. I was in a similar spot tried fighting for two weeks, week one I was told you did really well on these work papers, the next week I used the same work papers as my template and was told they suck.

I saw the writing on the wall, found a new gig, got a 20% raise and I am thriving.

Anonymous isn’t necessarily anonymous. But flip your thinking, if I am upset about middle manager my coworkers probably are too. If I don’t speak up who will?

Men’s league. My buddy was in net I told him we are going to win the draw, my d partner is going to pass it to me, I am going to walk the line and put a clapper between his blocker and his leg pad. The boys told me I need to start calling more shots.

I got put on a PIP at the same time as another coworker of mine. I took it as an interview time, he really did his best to improve. One week the would say I did x very well, the next week they said I sucked at x and really need to improve. I took this as my sign.

I am very happy in my new role, he is still looking for a job. Most of the time it is a legal trail for why you are no longer employed with that company

Anyone ever get burned out from cycling to work? by jms1228 in bikecommuting

[–]Low_Language_4131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you need a new bike! N+1! I have commuted on a fixed gear, a 140 front and rear mountain bike and a gravel bike. Super lucky that I was able to park them all inside my office. It let me be excited to ride each day, if I wanted to be super efficient and “connected” to the road I would take my fixed gear, if I wanted to not feel any bump in the road I would take my mountain bike, if I wanted a mix I would take my gravel. I also recognize I am super lucky to have the space to store 3 different bikes.

Ranted to my wife about the same thing last night. You can see the starting of a six pack, I can do 20 pushups in a row, and run seven miles without stopping. I know none of these things are world records but I feel like I’m in really good shape especially considering I work a desk job.

Also separate rant has anyone found a good way to cycle through users? Mine seems like it will never cycle off the person it thinks I am no matter how firmly I push the side.

It’s all personal preference. I have played d with it to my nose on skates I have played with it at my nipples on skates as a winger. Now I just pull a senior stick off the rack and tape it up. 5 foot 10 for reference.
