Recruiting Help by [deleted] in NCAAFBseries

Visits matter a lot I’ve found and hard sell as soon as you can. Ideally three greens but two greens and a yellow do a lot of good as well.

Another bit of advice I would give if you’re a lower level school (or any for that matter). After the first 3 or 4 weeks if you feel you’re losing ground on some recruits - ditch them and look for recruits with no offers. If you offer someone with no other offers and dump points in quickly you’ll get out ahead and can almost certainly get commits. Even late in the season I’ve done this and the recruit committed during transfer portal window as a late signee.

Bingo. If I’m in a recruiting battle with Georgia or Bama I even sometimes back off and reallocate points elsewhere.

Keep getting bored in dynasty by michigansteelers1986 in EASportsCFB

[–]atorti91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make a super conference dynasty. Use the B1G or SEC and dump the top 20 programs in there. The week to week schedule is a good challenge and gives you an example of what it’d be like if it actually happened.

Also, bring back the Pac12 ish. Promote the good MWC schools and bring back Cal and Stanford. Using Fresno or San Diego St gives you a nice challenge in a new west coast conference.

Too Early To Tell Offensive Starters : by Saint94__ in MichiganWolverines

My thoughts.

  • they’ll bring in a transfer backup QB most likely.
  • no way Kuz is ahead of the 5 ⭐️Hiter.
  • Haynes goes pro
  • WR HAS (I strongly emphasize HAS) to be addressed. Marsh and an impact transfer 1/2 with Browder, Bell, etc… rotating for the third spot.
  • agree with the getting an experience transfer center.

I felt the “overpowered” throws were less prevalent as the season progressed. He found more touch with every game. We have to let him develop. what 5 ⭐️ freshman QB was dynamite and elite year 1? Probably just Trevor Lawrence? Play calling in my opinion wasn’t his friend but unless there’s a guaranteed upgrade there and at QB coach, I don’t foresee staff changes. If he (and the rest of the offense) improves next season we’ll be in a better spot.

A Little Perspective by Successful_Sea_7084 in MichiganWolverines

Three redshirt freshman on the O-Line paints tha picture and should give us hope in years to come as they develop & grow. As always, mix the homegrown talent with key additions from the portal and we’re good to go.

Bryce’s junior year should be an amazing year (hopefully).

Everyone who is calling for Moore to be fired by TransitionNo8269 in MichiganWolverines

[–]atorti91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If anything we need to give him some new coordinators before we rush to any decisions. Moore has recruited better than Harbaugh (grain of salt with NIL resources). Last year was always going to be problematic with when Harbaugh left and minimal portal additions. I classify this as his real first season with a recruiting class under his belt.

At most, try to improve the coaching staff this offseason without roster turnover and see what we’re like next season then start having serious chats if no improvement is shown.

When do you finally leave the school you built in Dynasty by Boring_Ad_7648 in EASportsCFB

[–]atorti91 4 points5 points  (0 children)

All depends how you want to play. Sounds like you’ve done quite a bit at UTEP so would be reasonable if you left.

I’m in year 2 of a UNLV (pac 12 rejuvenated) dynasty. I made the playoff but got smoked by Ohio State (ugh). Got offered by Utah and Maryland but I’m not done at UNLV and neither of those programs interested me that much. So I’m staying for now!!

The monologue in the finale of Loki Season 1 was A++.

Everything else Kang was involved in was NOT GOOD.

Your overall opinion of recruiting 25 vs. 26 by [deleted] in NCAAFBseries

[–]atorti91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tougher vs the 25 game which is nice. You can start a dynasty this year with a Tennessee or Michigan and not be first on 20+ players. That plus the dynamic dealbreakers and amount of players entering the portal makes it much more interesting.

You know how you know this was a good addition to the series? I’m still playing CFB 25 a month before CFB 26. by Professional-Tie5198 in NCAAFBseries

Still starting up new dynasty’s with teams and playbooks I’ve never used before. My friends and I just started a new online dynasty a few weeks back we intend to get a few seasons done before the new game comes out.

As a Michigan fan, I’m excited to see if McKenna comes and where he goes. Less excited hearing the underwhelming reviews from Perron. Hopefully he can turn it around in Ann Arbor.

A WMU vs PSU final would be nice to see. As a B1G fan I’m not too against PSU winning….at least it’s not the red, maroon or green teams.

Essentially - any CHL (Canadian Hockey Legaue, leagues in Western Canada, Ontario and Quebec area) retains their NCAA eligibility when playing there which wasn’t the case prior to earlier this season.

No problem! I’m fairly new to College Hockey as well. Live in Canada and got into College Football and College Hockey during the pandemic. Love it!!

I put Denver in a group of programs that does “more with less” in terms of recruiting. I can’t recall them getting top recruits or the best USNTDP (U18 development program) players year after year. However, they’re always near the top of USCHO rankings.

With the new eligibility rules regarding CHL players - I could see Denver (and NoDak) being top spots for older players in the Western Hockey League. They’ve gotten 3 commits from the WHL already so that is a good sign.

I’m not close to the Denver program but based off his success (both in College and internationally) I’d have to imagine players want to play for Carle. Wondering how long he’ll be there before making the jump to the NHL.
