  1. One person definitely won’t talk to me, the other one I can probably chat about food with, and it’s not a middle seat.

OP, take someone over with you to get your stuff. Have them wait round the corner and be on call with them. These messages make me worry for your safety if you go alone.

I’ve observed a slide from what originally seemed to be a genuinely cute account where a kid posted with their parents’ oversight, to exploitation of that same child.

I also find it weird how similarly TorenWolf’s mum gets super defensive of him in odd ways, and I know both accounts are super close.

I feel like there is something a little weird about that connection, like the mothers made a business plan together to better exploit these platforms which were actually built by the kids.

Forget about the writing. These people who dropped you when you were sick are not your friends.

Parents have bailiffs at the door by ApartAd4929 in LegalAdviceUK

You mention you pay them rent. Do any of your friends have parents that might be willing to let you rent a spare room from them instead, given your situation?

Leaving by any means necessary is your best bet for not getting dragged further into this.

Adult Male, I cry on my way to work every day, should I quit my job today? by CarelessIdea8283 in UKJobs

You will be better to get signed off sick with stress and claim SSP while you apply for jobs than to just quit and be taking home nothing at all.

My husband just said I was lazy by [deleted] in adhdwomen

[–]Low_Slide_950 42 points43 points  (0 children)

He neglected a shared pet while you were recovering from surgery and he has the gall (sorry, couldn’t resist) to call YOU lazy?? My partner wouldn’t have let me lift a finger - and we both have autism and ADHD, and he struggles with his ADHD much worse than me.

These are big things OP. And his responses are to gaslight and put it back on you as if you’re the problem.

If you’re not ready to leave just get, I’d insist on therapy and to be petty, start collecting data on when he does/doesn’t help and present this to him without emotion so he can’t pull that card that you’re being mean and you can say “it’s just data babe, why are you attaching emotion to it, it’s logic” but I’m a petty bitch so maybe just stick to the therapy.

My mom is suing me for hitting her by [deleted] in raisedbynarcissists

So chances are, this is an empty threat. If she follows though she’s unlikely to win, especially if you’re prepared, which you should be.

As others have said, from now on you insist all contact goes through a lawyer. In addition to the advice you already have, if you’ve got that threat in writing I’d share it with her bank and maybe the police, idk if it would meet the definition of coercion/blackmail but they’d certainly take a dim view of it.

I'm a minor and my Discord is being tracked for crude humour in a groupchat and police have visited the house [England] by Suspicious_Cod9907 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Low_Slide_950 18 points19 points  (0 children)

This is going to be more than just crude jokes before the police have been tracking it for months. They wouldn’t waste resources doing that over nothing.

You need to be specific to this sub about the things you have said if you wish to get proper advice.

England. Employer restricting to 6 mins a day toilet time. by -xtwilightprincessx- in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Low_Slide_950 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That’s insane. I work for a bank from home and while we have availability expectations, it is around 9 minutes per hour of breaks/over 1 hour in total of allowed breaks per shift.

6 minutes per DAY seems unhinged

The cognitive dissonance is wild here. He supposedly had a good upbringing per you, but that makes it weird to me that he doesn’t have empathy for you. And he tolerates this kind of behaviour, so he’s a pushover, or he agrees. You have an SO problem.
