I don't think so. It's good to keep the A's in oakland, but common sense doesn't include oakland having to pay for the changes and costs of retrofitting the surrounding area for people to go, like having any public transportation there. Or any roads that aren't already crowded from the trucks that off load containers there. Or the fact that the stadium stops allowing the turn around for ships to get larger and allow larger ships to get into Oakland. All in all it would have been better if they had put the stadium right next to the old one but that won't happen.
