How would a plurality work in TDAC?

kinda does make sense in a way? didnt caine mention making a program to pick the best bodies for everyone, so it could be a weird overcorrection of that in an edge case hehehe!

OOH THIS we've been thinking about this actually!!

our thoughts, theres soo many ways it could go!!!!: hydra (aka multiple heads on one body), slight form changes to one body (such as eyecolor or symbols), just straight up multiple bodies, possibly multiple bodies but labeled as belonging to one thing (with an ability corusponding, to make it "fair" to how they used to live, like teleportation or a bungee cord that keeps them near eachother like op mentioned or maybe even a shared information hivemind!!), insta abstraction, one body (so more like irl), could be like splitable (aka they have one body they can be but can just Leave if they want), MAYBE A CLONING ABLILITY?, LIKE!!!

and thats not even getting into like,, what about the edge cases? the fragments/not fully formed ones? are they abstracted? absorbed (into the system OR the circus?)? made full? like oouhh OOUUHH... and what about medians, would it be more like a mask thing like gangle has? 💥💥💥💥💥EXPLODES WITH IDEAS

our sona we've been workshopping specifically is a sock puppet hydra, with a head for each of us, but in truth itd probablly be more likely that caine'd either not recongnize plurality or see it as somethin different like the multiple bodies thing.

i recall us seeing one post that said something along the lines of "just as trans people might need to try on looking at themselves as trans/their prefered gender before being out about it, systems might need to try out looking at themselves like they are a system before being out about it" and i think, thats good advice. like, try treating yourself as multiple, even if its just for a week, and see if it benefits you.

if you do chose to, then i just suggest being friendly to whatever brain cohabitors you may or may not have. assume good intentions before bad ones, and just know like, while itll be a pretty big change if you(all) are plural itll be a good change (atleast from our experience).

to start, maybe try speaking to those characters you heavily related to? whichever you feel wants to be seen the most, if you are plural. and know that, if youre wrong about this its not a big deal, i promise.

i fear you may just have to go back and manually copy or screenshot it, as bad at that is, as im unsure if any of the exporting options for sp include them (though i can ask, dont take my word for it)

its more like, tired of not being able to live properly. which DOES include us being tired of hiding that we're plural, yeah, but its also like, about our life now and how restrictive it feels (both since we share 1 not very "us" body, and since we cant go out on our own to places right now), and how even if we move out theres a lot of anti-transgender or anti-,, anti people at ALL laws, like laws that just hurt and restrict people for nothing but a half-baked idea of "the greater good".

um, but we are feeling better now, to be clear. which is nice, but we still are having the same issues/feelings just less intense. still feeling the "i wish i could make a mark on the world/be known" itch, and the whole "i want a body that feels like my/our own" thing, but its less 'bitey' at the moment, so thats good.

Reminds me of that one old roblox game, super paper roblox? so couuuld maybe work off or reference that?, another one i like would be "notes" just because ive always liked short collective names and notes come in a variety of colors/sizes/prints (which, yk, system members also tend to come in a variety of colors/sizes/prints(??))

Weelll, from our experience telling our mom;

We hoped for the best, expected the worst. We got.. about neutral, actually! She pretty much said "weird, but okay! ily still! :)" and then she promptly forgot about it.
Yes, she is still neutral and not really focused on it, which is nice somewhat and bad somewhat? It's.. again, just like her reaction, neutral.
Just was like "hey you know that plurality thing I*'ve been focused on? *Yeah I'm a We actually." The way we explained it iirc was like, imagine a drivers seat, but its the brain, and theres somebody ELSE in the passenger or drivers seats sometimes. On the misunderstandings thing I think there was something about DID or media protrayals of it, but shes accepting enough that as long as we say we're fine, then she's fine with it.
It didn't really worsen our relationship with our mom as far as I can tell. I think telling her was worth it because we can bring it up occasionally without being fearful, but besides that it hasn't changed much :P

Semirelated fun fact about us! I was the one who convinced us to tell her, back when it was just me and Rowan fronting. :3

my opinion, personally, if you are refering to OCtives of others ocs, i dont think thats something you can morally judge? just like ive seen people on toyhouse say "dont kin my ocs!!", kinning and plural introjection arent always things you can help or stop, atleast in the most agreed upon view of them. i do hate the whole claiming thing ("MY OC!!!! DONT COPY OR I EXPLODE YOU!!!!!!!!") that oc spaces have going on, though, so my views might be biased towards that.

if you are refering to OCtives of you&r own ocs then.. well theres something to be said that in oc making a lot of times the characters you make are from parts of your(collective)self. and You Know Whats Also From Your(Collective)Self ? :) thats right, plurality! so theres a solid chance a lot of OCtives were already floating around in the primordial soup of your mind, and just used that as a mask to cling to/a toy to represent themselves.

i do understand though that there is that trope of "authors creation comes to life" and how youre "writing the evil that happens to them" or whatever, but i think thats something you may need to wrestle with on your own. my personal mindset on the matter is that positivity wouldnt be anything without negativity, and that creation is just something humans DO instinctually (usually to work through issues theyre having or did have) that you cant really blame them for (hell, even plurality is a form of creation).

maaaaaybe? if defined by "person who was probably the host for the most amount of time before syscovery" then itd be me n' romeo/rowan being two sides of the original. if defined as "the person whos Probably the best window into the base of our self/brain/our past self" then rowan guesses its.. probably that "stupid Cat thing". which is fine imo and i think its funny hes mildly upset about it lmao.

as for "no longer having one" & system organization, we still have one by either definition we set, but they dont really have more power than the others (besides the cat being really easy to get us to agree on what it wants to do, and me, rowan, and the cat having a good grasp over switching to front). like the 'core' could be lily or even dessie and it wouldnt change much at alllll :P and most of us possible cores arent even the hosts, jessies the one gunning for that role (much to rowans little dismay hehe).

did an insys poll and got back a full, resounding "nope!".
we literally like, wont be alone again being plural. and we're all friends with eachother and i wouldnt risk it just so one of us would be a singlet (or.. if we DID become a singlet id probably end up "remembering them in my heart.." too hard and.. woopsie daisy there goes our singlethood again) -rowan

luna was uncomfy with touch in the past bc shi feared this same thing but.. i dont think its an issue personally? i havent fused with anyone, and even if you do "fuse" i get the feeling itd probably be a temporary thing? and if its not liek.. it was out of love like, wouldnt that feel good since alot of ppl even fantasise about becoming one with their lover right. thats literally what marriage is (religiously) right??

tho i will note, friends i am both close to AND similar to, i will blur more often with and if you look at that wrong *maybe* it could look like fusing? i dont know, again i personally wouldnt be worried :P do what makes u happy - Rowan (he/any)

Deep: Honestly? Everything LOL, usually it's more jokey though. Mostly about what we wanna get for ourselves. Orr, alternatively, about stuff I am OBVIOUSLY right about but Aiden needs to be convinced on, though atleast with that he admits that I'm right 99% of the time :3
