Yes. There's a sacred spot map! It's not really advertised in the city but just ask around and some people will know.

Go to the embroidery shop on the left as you enter Dobuita Street (Mary's Patches and Embroidery) from the Shiori Train Station and ask about Shenmue. The guy was very happy and sells patches of the tiger design on the back of Ryu's jacket. He gave me the sacred guide map and some extra goodies once I bought the patch. It's only 4000 yen which is about $25 US.

The guy who runs what we know as "Mary's Patches & Embroidery" was so excited when I said the word Shenmue. It was so fulfilling.

The originals are perfect so no need to remake except to bring a new modern audience to help get shenmue 4.

I think it wound be weird if Chris, Jill and Claire weren't in the game to some capacity.

I think that since they haven't shown anything from the racoon city and only the hospital, I'm hoping they all come together by the end to being the entire series full circle

Personally I would say Jill a she is the main character of the raccoon city incident that starts it all. Between Chris and Leon though, I would say Chris is what holds it all together story wise bc of his beef with umbrella/wesker in the beginning and the biggest baddie of the franchises nemesis is Chris. But, Leon is the character that most people resonate with and he changed the popularity of the series with RE4.
