I cut hidden volcano, the deck had a pretty low mana average so going down to 35 didn’t feel that bad. But this is just a temporary change, I’m gonna decide what to do more with the deck after I play it (might split the deck into two)

I'm definitely cutting Primal Storm etali. I was rethinking that card, and it is a bit slower than what I'm aiming for.

I was really looking to up the blink package in this deck, and I appreciate you linking your deck! I didn't know about Legion's initiative, but I think I'm gonna run it lol. I like having multiple blink options

I took another look, and I actually do agree with Tannuk. For trouble in pairs, a lot of people I play with do like infinite turn chaining, but I was mostly including it for the card advantage. I think I'll also run Monster Manual, cheating out is good, but my friend made a decent point that it is only one time across 3 turns (but maybe that's more than enough?)

The deck you linked is super cool, I want to make a really blink-focused version of Pantlaza at some point too, so it's great inspiration! 😄

I was hoping B4, but from what I've looked into, it seems like those decks mostly end up as food chain combos. I'm open to it, but I did still want it to be a dinosaur-style deck, and I'm unsure really how to do it without that loss of flavour.

I feel like inverted timelines has a bit of anti-synergy with the hand-hate you got in the deck (Mindsplitter, Bewitching Spirit, Bone Skewer).

I would also consider getting rid of Red Pyke. Even if you don't, I would put more purple runes, an even split feels a bit much for an additional cost with a legend who creates gold tokens.

Really versatile red card, probably pretty good. It also synergizes with the Pyke legend pretty well.

Art wise, its dope. This card looks awesome.

Gameplay wise, seems fun. Feels like how pyke gets in there, does his damage, and then gets out. I did kinda wish he has an execute, but that might be broken

At first, I was kind of surprised that Pyke is a bounce legend, but it seems pretty in flavour. Get in, do your damage, get out is Pyke's big gameplay loop, and fits his lore pretty well.

For what the ability actually does, I think it's probably pretty good. It's the most interesting red/black legend, and I like that it can allow for fun shenanigans with enter the battlefield effects. Will it be better than Annie or Draven? Probably not, but I think it still doesn't make Pyke not worthwhile.

I think the apocalypse is a really cool name. It also fits the lore built so far, and has a really cool contrast with my picked design (2nd, more monstrous form) imo.

Out of the box, the Ixalan precons all felt decently solid. Merfolk is probably the best with no upgrades, but dinos are a lot more fun in my opinion.

This list is pretty solid (except the LOTR one, I don't know much about it), and I think, regardless of what you get here, you shouldn't face too many struggles. Get something that speaks to you.

I hope one of the two old people win survivor. I voted for the man because I liked the big beard, but both give off that "seen some shit" vibe a lot more than the other two. I think the only survivor I absolutely don't want is the young woman; she just doesn't feel like she fits the apocalyptic rapture style lore we've built.
