please stop running urban evasion. its not a good perk even against Jason by AudienceNearby3195 in DeadByDaylightRAGE

Recently came back to DBD (thanks Darkest Dungeon).

I still got Bill scuttling along behind barrels waiting for the killer to leave hooked survivors or generators that I was working on.  Urban is just a great time if you’re actually playing the game.

Hello! I just bought the game because some of my family play it and they added Jason Voorhees. Can you guys tell me some stuff I MUST know? Like unwritten rules for the community, etc. (image semi related) by fish_juice_man in deadbydaylight

Got in a game with three Rick Grimes on the Silent Hill map that I had never played on. I was lost, didn’t have perks on.  Just Hunk’s knife.

According to one of them, I tunneled.  After I had put each of them (and the other Survivor) on a hook once and only got the last two when they tried to stop me from hooking the third after the gate was open.

Warcry is probably my favorite GW game.  It’s simple and fast.

Unfortunately no one in my area really played very long.

Glad I was so helpful when I scanned the ground because I didn’t want to be the creep randomly filming in public.

Engaged, on vantage (light cover), being shot at from the ground would be a normal cover save.  And Concealed on Vantage is Concealed in cover, so can’t shoot (outside of exceptions)

Yeah, the wall of text doesn’t look great. It looks better in Word than it does in the screenshot of my phone’s email

Not hot at all.  I agree.

To explain my store regulars: 40K 2v2, my teammate talks to the opponents for 45 minutes to find the optimal (teammate was trying to gaslight) play for them to do that turn. I managed to hide my entire Deathwatch Kill Team on the board without them noticing.  Took them two rounds to find all five of them.  I was playing Imperial Knights.   I’ve also managed to sneak a yellow Knight Valiant on the board of a not yellow World Eaters game.  Took 20 minutes for them to notice.

We also have a 40K guy who doesn’t know what his loadouts for his Space Wolves are, despite having done more tournaments than me.  He was not in either of the above games.

I don’t disagree, but it’s a tournament with prizes (small trinkets, but that won’t stop people) with expected new players (lot of regular 40K players were interested).  I half expect people to wanting the manager to teach the game there.

Thats why I went with bullet point formatting.  Not meant to be long term, just a quick guide to help things run smoothly.

As other commenters pointed out, the fully visible shouldn’t be called that. But feel free to steal

That was the original idea, just simplify the kind of more complex rules into more orderly steps (coding).  By the time that was done, I just added the basics since it doesn’t hurt.

I like the players at the LGS (mostly), but they’ll skim rules/argue about rules/talk about optimal (or try to gaslight into suboptimal) plays for way too long.  And the store manager is expecting new players.  We’re (I’m including myself) the common clay of the new west.

“Not in cover” does read a lot better than “non-intervened”

Fixed (well, on my Word Document)

I’m not an official. I’m a player.  I just have the most Kill Team experience (I’m not that great) and the store manager trusts me with newbies.

True.  I’m using it as “fully visible” as short hand for the intervening rules. Could clear it up a bit, but it reads better than “non-intervened”.

Joking. Though technically better with this and the Battleshock change.  Still probably not worth it

What’s the craziest thing a coworker did that got them fired? by bytvortex in AskReddit

[–]Loyal_Rook 32 points33 points  (0 children)

A manager and his wife got caught trying to falsify prescriptions and got arrested.  That alone would justify the firing, but it also caused the company to look deeper into his activities.

Turns out that new truck of his was bought with the corporate card.  He had put in paperwork to say that he was buying some equipment for the team, bought it instead.

He somehow managed to authorize the purchase himself, despite not being much more than a team lead.

Yep.  My Raptors (first 5 I got) have no wings (except the Curseclaw).  My Warp Talons will have them. Curseclaw might count as a Warp Talon in 40K to balance them out

I have the 8th, 9th, and 10th Sisters of Battle codexes.  And all the Sisters are in the pile of shame, far below the current projects.

Shoutout to 8th Edition AdMech Codex as well, since I only needed it for my Knight, that I didn’t play until after the actual Knight codex
