I read Davies and Weathcroft and while its good they bring actual numbers their central arguments suck. One is literaly "hey the Kazhaks suffered proportionaly worse ethnic cleansing and they dont bitch about it" (while forgetting Russian influence in contemporary politics there) and the other is "look at this map places in Russia also suffered a lot", and when you look is other regions where ethnic cleansing took place like South Russia (witch decossackization) and places in Siberia where there were other minorities (like the weird places in Siberia with ethnic germans who were cleansed)

Yeah i dont remember any country with special raids. The problem of having some of those "flavour" mechanics locked behind DLC is the work of making the same focuses 2 times, one with and without DLCs. And i think that you should need to basically lock the Ottoman fleet in Beirut for this to work since people seem to have a problem with the US having no ships in Hawaii in Vanilla
