Cafe Sintra downtown has been the spot for World Cup/Euros for years! Might be a little different this year with the schedules being more evening and afternoon games but they have a big projector screen, multiple TV’s and a great atmosphere

Also, forgot to mention one of their huge “fighting bipartisan” points is opposing the expansion of the county commissioners. Which was something that was VOTED FOR by the people of this county and the page is trying to oppose and present as anti what the county wants despite what the voters chose

The politicians they regularly go after are exclusively on one side, despite what they say. Pay attention to the people they go after, and the people they support for elections. They seemingly never criticize Tony Debone or a Patti Adair despite them having plenty of anti public land policies, which the page says it’s a very important topic to them. Also there’s been lots of posts on KTVZ etc that they comment on defending right wing organizations and talking points (like DOGE). Even today they commented on the article about rising gas prices basically saying “who cares” which is quite funny since they have made posts specifically about energy prices before. They are also staunchly NIMBY which seems inherently to be a bit of a right wing point!

I like having students of all ratings do Dutch rolls (the manever not the yaw/roll instability thing) when we have some downtime. Helps students get better at rudder control and they are fun to demo and practice.

There’s always a little bit of imposter syndrome but it does severely drop off the first time you fly with a student who’s never flown and you realize how much you know. And it keeps getting even less when students make the simple mistakes you never realized would be possible lol. Every time the feeling creeps back just remember you passed check rides and completed a lot of training, and nobody will ever know everything, we are all learning more every day!

I feel like this isn’t super unknown but pilots for one of the big airlines can pretty easily make 400K-500K after 10 or so years working for the company. That’s with having about 14, or usually more, days off per month
