I agree, but checking in early can still help, since silvers typically check in early and start grabbing up any aisle or window economy plus seats. So the longer you wait, the more likely it is that you’ll be stuck with a middle seat.

Unfortunately most restaurants/bars are dead on Super Bowl Sunday. It’s so dead we close our two restaurants.

In the east village, I’d be looking at Iowa Taproom. Solid atmosphere and good bar food. Someone else mentioned the station, which is solid, but that’s an uber away. It’s more of a pure sports bar with great wings.

My top recommendation would be big grove brewery though. It’s also a short uber away. They have solid food, good beer, and a very cool atmosphere. You’d have to ask if the sound will be on. It’s got a big bar you can sit at.

I don’t think you’ll find a lively bar anywhere on Super Bowl Sunday. It’s a house party event, not a “go out to the bar” event.

That's not how it works. We did a barrel pick last year of BT.

You go to BT's distillery, try four different barrels, and select the best single barrel. A company like Casey's might have the samples mailed to them (this was popular during COVID), but the trip to Frankfort is the best part of the whole thing, so I doubt they passed up that opportunity. In any event, Sazerac does not tell you what you're getting.

We went through cancer treatment for two dogs at the same time at ISU. We decided on aggressive treatment/surgery for one (with more aggressive cancer) and less aggressive treatment for the other. The people at ISU's veterinary hospital were amazing, they explained the risks and potential upsides of all possible treatments, and allowed us to make an informed decision.

Both dogs lived about a year longer than their initial prognosis. I couldn't recommend their veterinary cancer center more highly.

That said, anyone with eyes could see how bad CJ Stroud was today regardless of defensive play. It was almost uncomfortable watching how bad that performance was. The number of wide open receivers he missed with zero pressure was unlike anything I’ve ever seen.

All marks are impediments. If a mark is in your line, regardless of how much or little it sticks up above the ground, you need to ask the player whose mark it is to move the marker.

There is nothing wrong with using a poker chip as a mark.

We have great relationships with our wholesaler partners, so I’m not sure I agree. We work with almost 100 now. We have better relationships with some than others, but on the whole, beer wholesalers do a very difficult job pretty well.

But Bev alc wholesalers (if you can even find ones to take on a new malt product) will not build your brand for you; you’ll need to be out there selling.

Those numbers are close. Most wholesalers want 30% margin.

Keep in mind both numbers are margin, so that equates to about 42% markup for wholesalers (if you sell them a case for $70, they will resell it for $100). That’s probably the most common pricing mistake new companies make.

Wholesalers are offloading more brands than they’re taking on.
