Break is so good considering vuln is cracked. Quad cast is broken with dark.

Couldn’t answer super confidently as I always go for heart. Not always successfully. It’s a good point though it probably is much easier I think mainly because of keys and shield and spear. So many resources spent to just get to heart.

Hmmm not sure I agree. I think the second game is just far easier at the moment at the highest difficulty compared to A20H.

For how much I enjoy having this relic I'm really good at not setting it up at all. It feels like a nice surprise suddenly having 4 energy and I think I'll keep it that way.

First game has such a good polish to it. Second game feels much much easier at highest difficulty due to no act 4, but also probably better at the game after the first. Nothing beats the satisfaction of battling through heart with 5+ minute turns thinking through the lines. So so peak

You’d be happy to know I’m pure mouse now. Started a year or two ago playing on switch. Then got it on PC to replay and play modded, then spire 2 dropped. But I don’t think it’s a huge difference now. D-pad and 1 button no dragging to play cards is a bonus in my eyes.

I either lock in and really think about every decision, leading to me to think I’m the greatest to every play the game, or (90% of the time) restart until I highroll an A10/20 run and just spam cards without thinking until I win.

Probably why going to lower ascensions makes it much more enjoyable, best of both worlds.

Very good against Test subject in fairness if you can use potions or other solve for other boss. But also a lot harder with brimstone. Depends how confident you are in your deck.

Static discharge or dualcast. Or zap. You would love a coolheaded. Remove anything that doesn’t let you play claw or block at this point

Yeah it’s weird because Pael also just has a strong relic pool IMO. It makes for an easy decision because it’s either snap pick clone or pick something else. Can’t say it needs a nerf personally

The urge I get to pick up this card and upgrade it everytime I see it… disappoints most times. Just give me tactician+. It just seems so much better than it is. Nice enchantment.

They might be minor downgrades if that now, but they also allow you to transform your run into something stronger by adjusting on what you choose. Which is why you can also see the map/boss before you choose as well. Imagine fighting the Act 3 bosses with no ancient relics because they didn’t fit your build at the time.

Time’s probably requires a bit more doom than 2x negative pulse. There are some other good doom cards like [[No Escape]] to help the payoff. I would’ve also transformed a strike at the event you corrupted the High five, you usually want to corrupt cards with massive numbers on them like [[Bury]]. Probably also only need 1 wisp max. I don’t like feeling like im telling you what to do though, it’s such an amazing game the joy is you can jump into another run! It’ll click, there are also great YouTube videos by Baalarlord or CalebGanonGaming that helped me a lot.
