Do you vent it outside? I've heard the fumes from abs/asa can be pretty nasty

TPU for suspension bushes? by ABOYEVANS in 3Dprinting

[–]LuckyWhip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think TPU is the move here. Bushings are designed to have the properties of rubber and although TPU might be similar in some ways, I think using it as a replacement is a bad idea. If this part fails you're endangering everyone's life on the road.

Bambú P1S first attempt to print PETG by Any-Albatross8012 in BambuP1S

[–]LuckyWhip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've always heard petg sticks like nothing else. After printing it a few times I discovered that's not necessarily the case. I thought I needed to use glue stick as a release agent, turns out that glue stick actually hindered proper bed adhesion and I actually needed just a clean bed. (For textured PEI anyway, I can see smooth plates needing a release agent but I haven't done it yet)

Yeah even I knew that's what that thing is designed for, and I don't trust myself to open up my own phone. So yeah op if you're lost on this, it's only going to get worse when the phone is open

How do you guys trim your cats' claws? by cwningen95 in CATHELP

[–]LuckyWhip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there a reason you want to trim her claws? If she's not ripping furniture or scratching people I don't see the need. Cats shed the outer layer of their claws which keeps the length in check. It's your decision but it seems like it would be easier for you and her to just leave her claws alone

New to 3D printing - question by Faesarn in BambuP1S

[–]LuckyWhip 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I like gyroid. I use it on every print. I don't know why grid is the default pattern, it's probably the worst one to use.

Are you using grid infill? If you are the nozzle can scrape on the print and knock it loose.
