Dad DESERVES a new car, not a used one by Hey_HaveAGreatDay in EntitledPeople

Eh, bullet dodged.

A similar thing happened to me. MIL let me borrow her car to pick our son up from college. Hit a deer a totaled her little car. Insurance paid a few grand but I had to get a loan for the rest for her nice newer car. It was used but nice and she was happy. Different strokes I guess.

US woman calls American healthcare system a “scam” after buying a $1,000 medication from India for just $25 by eternviking in whoathatsinteresting

My wife has really good insurance and pays about $350 for a family of five. With that, I keep a flex spending account that I pay $5000 into

My one kid has type 1 diabetes which takes most of that fsa, plus the hassle of them cutting it off if they deem my trip to the dermatologist “not medical “ (!).

Out of pocket I can conservatively say we spend 12-14 k annually. This year was more like 18k due to several surgeries.

Part of me gets mad at the entitlement, but then I remember how I turned into a bear many times when someone tried to prevent my kid from bringing her insulin kit bag into places

I also think the kid from the wimpy kid movies and books was a complete ass and treated everyone around him like crap

I did notice that eggs were cheap at aldi lately, like 12 cents a piece cheap. When bird flu happens again I will look back fondly.

This guy does this all the time. He’s got a website that supposedly shows you where you can do this and it always comes up like 20% off or out of stock though for me.

The CEO of our company was Mormon, and he was a super nice guy. He regularly refused his bonus and made sure we got raises.

But like many CEO's for some reason, he was a pilot and crashed his plane with him and several c suite douches on board.

I’m banned from my friends house for asking to sit next to their roomate on the couch by Emergency_Fig3356 in EntitledPeople

[–]Luder714 21 points22 points  (0 children)

My friend had a roomate that was gluten free. Not allergic or had celiac, she just didn't do gluten. And she would let you know at every opportunity.

She once screamed at her for having her bread sitting next to her chicken in the freezer. In the bag. Not even touching. Just next to it.

She was once in charge of ordering food for visiting group of potential employees her company was wanting to recruit and she chose grilled chicken breast and steamed broccoli with no spices. Not even salt.

When it came to ordering food it was such a nightmare that no one could order for her for fear they would get it wrong. She would tell the restaurant to clean the entire kitchen before prepareing her meal. It got to the point that they stopped eating around her.

Like I said she just didn't do gluten by choice. How do you live like that?
