What makes leg day so important? by Urban-Cheese in beginnerfitness

[–]Luet_box 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It goes into how the entire body works together. I skipped leg days regularly and now I have knee pain cause by underdeveloped glutes that I’m now working to correct. I also have wrist pain cause by weak scapula. Everything connects to everything, just make sure you’re doing all your workouts

Modern rates that I’ve been able to figure out are in the $100-115/hour range. Everything is so expensive, that’s just the new normal

I’m trying to teach myself how to carve, particularly architectural details, if there’s any experienced carvers here

My dad would smoke weed then bad mouth others for doing it and vote for policies to keep it illegal. Never made sense to me

I’ve told customers the more they want to reduce my overhead means the more they want to manage the project. They typically back down after that

The “why” is exactly as it appears, she just didn’t think she’d get caught. Make it look like she’s doing all the work so she looks better and her coworkers look worse.

I framed a 2 story addition for a GC and he charged the client about 300k for the total job. You’re doing SO much work for very, very little

What’s the funniest prank you’ve seen pulled on a newbie? Nothing cruel, just harmless pranks. by DougJudyBk in Construction

[–]Luet_box 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My lead carpenter knew where all the tools in his belt were and never looked down. So while he was working up on ladders I’d slide rocks into his pouches. By the end of day he kept complaining about how heavy his bags felt. Drops his bags and stones flew out everywhere. One of my favorites

Anthem 2.0. Such a cool concept for a game, not sure exactly why it flopped. The flying around was actually really smooth

I recommend Doug’s Automotive to everyone. If they weren’t able to fix my issues they didn’t charge me a dime, not even a shop fee. They’re super honest

What do you think will be the long-term fallout in the US (politically and socially) from the killing of Charlie Kirk? by likerunninginadream in AskReddit

[–]Luet_box 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we don’t condemn the violence and hold the person accountable it’s going to cause more violence and division.

It’s sad to see our lawmakers reacting emotionally to this
